The hotel is within walking distance to the center, the rooms are clean and smelling of soap, the breakfast is wonderfully attentive. 
There is no parking question, prices are reasonable. I recommend it to everyone

The best hotel in Turkey! The staff are amazing, they are so sweet and tentative. The breakfasts are the best in the world! I have never been to as clean of a hotel. It’s in an amazing location, and the rooms are beautiful. I have been to 35 different countries and stayed at hundreds of places, but this is the cleanest, best breakfast, cutest family run place ever. I can’t express how much I love this place! You have to stay here if you want a real Turkish experience where they treat everyone like family.

We spent three nights at Tas Baçhe arriving by ferry from Mytilini, Lesvos. Staying on Cunda Island and at Tas Baçhe was a great alternative to being in Ayvalik with its noise and traffic. The communication in advance regarding arrival with a pick up at the ferry made everything easier. Mert was super helpful in all ways. I describe the hotel as an Oasis as once you enter the grounds you find an enclosed tended yard with many opportunities for hanging out. The room was very comfortable with AC , a great shower and very quiet. The breakfast is over the top with family made jams, olives, fresh cut cheese and in our time gozeleme and zucchini fritters with Turkish memenem. You will be lucky to have the excellent fritters. This is a family run well cared for hotel which stands out. The location just a few minutes walk from the hubbub of Cunda town was ideal as the restaurants and waterfront area were busy and noisy. Mert helped us sort out transportation to Ayvalik either by little bus right out front or the ferry from down the street. He recommended excellent restaurants and helped us get reservations. A favorite recommendation was Ayna, don’t miss it.

Clean , fresh lavender soap smell when entering the room, bath and bedding so authentic , beautiful garden and sea view from balcony, with bird sounds , so peaceful .. Delicious breakfast , homemade jams, bagels , olive oil from family orchard , fresh , organic veggies ..5 stars ⭐️

Very close to Cunda center (5 min walk or less) but quite place to stay. The garden is quite and clean.  Highly recommend

Location: Located not in messy Ayvalik; instead, the hotel is far from the turmoil of the city, in Cunda Island. It gives a great feeling of peacefulness and quietness. When you arrive to Ayvalik, before entering the downtown; turn right, follow the main road to Cunda Island, cross two bridges, continue all the way to the historic wind mill, and the hotel is another 50m away on the right; just before the Cunda Island center.

Rooms: The hotel has two buildings, with five rooms each. There is an internal courtyard between the rooms as well, which holds a covered breakfast area with 7-8 tables for about 25 people. Rooms are  very cosy with either double beds (extra bed option is also available) or two twin beds. Rooms located upstairs have balcony option, where you may possibly have a beautiful sea or Cunda center view. Bathrooms have a descent size, and very authentic in decoration. Overall very clean. The staff even use some local solution with a very pleasant scent for cleaning, which gives you a very cosy and clean feeling.

Staff: It is a family run boutique hotel. Mert, the young guy, is the backbone of the hotel, with his really impressive managing skills. He is a great host, and he takes “hospitality” to a new level, with his patience, smile, very welcoming attitude and never ending energy. Zeynel is the masterchef in the kitchen, with his Michellin Restaurant level cooking skills. He is, God knows how, capable of turning a basic breakfast into a feast. Emel, the glue for all, is very passionate host with her very welcoming and Turkish style hosting attitude. Eventually there always somebody else is available, other than the family. However, these main characters are almost always visible to you with a big smile on their faces.

Food: Exceptional! Breakast is in a very traditional Turkish way, where you can find many different jams, cheeses, hams, vegetables, etc. in very small portions (bite size) for a great variety (called “Serpme Kahvalti”). Possibly the best ‘Serpme Kahvalti’ in the area. Also a local way of sandwich (called “Ayvalik Tostu”) is available, if you ask for. Zeynel, the magic chef in the kitchen, is a genious with his cooking skills that he creats uncontrolled taste explosions in your palate (ask his way of cooking “mücver”).

Facilities: Small hotel for a getaway, to get completely lost; best for long weekends. Brilliant, if you are into peace and quiet vacation. Neither far, nor near to Cunda Island center; but perfecy located, if you want to be alone (or go for a drink). Perfect for couples. Also great for solo travellers. If you have small kids, it may not be the best. No swimming pool, however, possibly it will come along in the very near future. Nearest beach is also kind of far away. But if you have a car; then in 5-to-25 min, you can end up in amazing sand beaches of Ayvalik, in any direction. Parking is available, however, contact hotel/staff (e.g.Mert) for a proper description, otherwise it is not practically possible. Only breakfast is available (no lunch and/or dinner). No bar, either. However, Cunda Island center is in walking distance for anything you need.

General: If you would like to leave the hassle of a daily life, or get lost, or experience great food/time for a long weekend; then this boutique hotel is very highly recommended.

Loved everything about this beautiful boutique hotel. There are 2 buildings and in between there is a beautiful garden and the breakfast area. Rooms are very well decorated and very clean. There was a  mini bar and a balcony in our room. Breakfast was delicious and there were many options to choose from (it is not an open buffet almost like an open buffet). After we came from the beach they served us cookies and tea at the swinging chair in the garden. Everything was perfect , thank you for making our vacation perfect. I would recommend this beautiful hotel to everyone.

we re here for three days. Rooms are very tidy, clean and furnished with very good furnitures. Sheets and towels are white and smell very fresh. Breakfest is very delicious. Dried tomatoes with olive oil, peppers and salads are cropped from their little garden for their special guests.  Orange, strawberry jams are homemade and tasty. We re so pelasured in these days. The location of this hotel is very near to Cunda island. It just takes few minutes by walking to reach center of island.

first, this is a biased review, in that the people who run the Taş Bahce Otel are familiy of friends of ours.  our friends, on recommending the Taş Bahce said that we would like the hotel, and we would be fed the best, best food.  and, they were right.

the hotel is located in the Cunda district of Ayvalık, which is across from the mainland (it is reachable by a ferry, or, in a car, taxi, bus, via bridges).  Cunda appears to be the main tourist destination in Ayvalık.  the seaside promenade (walkway) is full of restaurants, with shops a block or so from the shore.

the hotel itself consists of two small buildings, each with five or so rooms, and with a beautiful garden.  the hotel rooms were small but adequate.  however, we could have used more electrical outlets in the room for all of our gadgets.

breakfast ("kahvaltı") is served in a small pavillion in the garden between the two buildings.  it is, of course, homemade and is truly delicious.  the normal Turkish kahvaltı fare of many small dishes was supplemented each day by one or more hot dishes specially made by Emel, the owner/cook.

we speak a fair amount of Turkish, so can't comment on the English-language abilities (however, one of the owner's son's works at the hotel and has a good command of English).

the wifi was fine in the common areas, a bit weaker in the rooms themselves.

we hope one day to return to the Taş Bahce Otel.

I stayed here for three nights in the middle of summer. It was fantastic! One tip, make sure to book your departure late enough to have breakfast! You will want to take every opportunity to eat there. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The hospitality was great. The staff was very welcoming and kind. Would highly recommend this place. It is just a one minute walk from the "downtown" area of Cunda Island with tons of shops and restaurants.

Everything Was Great!

The most beautiful little boutique hotel we have stayed in to date. The rooms are fabulously decorated with four poster bed in antique cream with muslin floral decorated drapes, gorgeous hand crafted cream antique furniture, sweet bathroom and a little French door adorned with antique lace curtains which lead out to a little balcony overlooking a magnificent peaceful garden. It is such a perfect place for a honeymoon or to rekindle a bit of romance in your relationship. The hotel is an oasis of tranquility and beauty in every nook and cranny. We totally fell in love with the place and stayed an extra night and will definetly return there in September. The staff were great especially Mert the young manager who served us the most delicious breakfast we have eaten in all our time in Turkey. He told us all about the surrounding areas and when after four glorious days we had to leave  he personally drove us to the bus station. The hotel is in a great location with a dolmus service right outside the gate and less than five minutes walk  into the harbour and shop and restaurant area. It is a wonderful place to stay but the problem is you wont want to leave.
