Very dirty shower/bathroom area, full of mold and stain. There was no shampoo or soap. The room was too small and there was nothing except for a bed. The towels had stains on them. There were cracks on the walls. The window knobs were broken. There was a half/broken fan on the wall. And their price was a total rip-off.

Terrible room

Nice and calm place . Excellent own beach. Nice staff

We stayed for a few days at the end of August with our dog.  The accommodation is simple but clean and very friendly staff.  

The location is great - peaceful and shallow water and poolside service from the hotel

Cunda centre is a short drive away for more restaurants and things to see

I can definitely recommend this place !

Perfect relaxing holiday with the dog !

You have to drive through a very bad road for rude staff, high prices and bad facility conditions. They ask per person price for entree and beach. PP price doesn't apply at any other places. I even don't want you to lose time to read any more so I am not writing. There are many more places in Cunda and Ayvalık. 


It's a vaste of money and time

We had only one night in Biyikli Pansiyon but i can say without any hesitation it is a great place! It is in a quiet little bay with no other inhabitants. It's in the middle of nowhere in a good way. They generate their own electricity and have a poultry yard. They have a beautiful beach and a garden with hammocks and comfy cushions. Hence breakfast was delicious! Rooms are not luxurious, as one might expect from a pension but they are clean and satisfactory.It is a perfect stay if you want to just lay back and relax.  But magic comes with a price, if you don't have a car, transportation can be tricky and somewhat expensive. The road is rocky and some cabs don't want to go there.

Beautiful!

Fell in love first, but took a couple of days to adjust to simple life with no TV, no air con, very poor Internet. But this is the beauty of the place. Food is grown in the farm nearby or caught from the sea earlier that day. Staff reserved, yet efficient. Breakfast good, but gets boring after a few days. Rooms are tiny and toilets have no doors. Majic place, which makes you to come back. Stunning views, very good beach just meters away.

If you like conceptual holidays, the place is for you

By the pictures and the few reviews we read before booking, we were expecting a well kept pension on the water.  We took a dolmus from Ayvalik to Cunda "Island" hoping that it would take us near our pension.  On arriving at the bus stop on Cunda, a kind man then walked us to the taxi depot.  When we asked about getting to the pension, we were told that the roads were so bad that it would take us 30 min. to get there and cost us 50TL one way.  Because we had a reservation, we were obliged to take the taxi...with the grumpy taxi man.  The roads were dirt, but in good condition, so we arrived in 15 min.  We felt that we had been "taken" by the driver.  
On arrival, the place looked run down and overgrown.  The pier and umbrellas were in ratty condition and the waterside was dirty and littered with washed-up trash.  
When we were showed our room, it was clean and neat with a good bed, but the only window in the room was boarded shut.  This wasn't good, since they provide their electricity by generator.  We were very disappointed, since swimming was out of the question and the yard was weedy.
That evening we met the owner, who has good English, and he was very helpful and arranged to have a meal made for us that evening.  That meal was what saved our visit there.  He served us two different grilled fish on the patio overlooking the bay, with 2 excellent salads and relishes.  We were even given soft throws in case it became too chilly, and we had soft Turkish music for accompaniment.  He provided a big clay firepit for us to enjoy after supper, which was nice. 
Breakfast in the morning was ample and delicious...one of the best we had while in turkey!  All the food wouldn't fit on our table, served in the yard.  Then the owner arranged for a cousin to pick us up and take us all the way to the Ayvalik Bus Station for 40TL... a better deal.
This place redeemed itself, but it is not worth the price and especially when you consider the extra cost to get there and back (if you don't have your own vehicle).  Be aware of that.

Disappointing

Relax, peaceful , comfortable, friendly ,super service, beach,sea,excellent sevilen wine ,pet lover, contemporary decoration,fresh fish, home made French fries, they have own farm so everything is organic ,electric from solar panels  what you can ask more ,enjoy enjoy enjoyyyyy
