Maison Bahar is a beautiful, cozy 6 suite hotel. The building belonged to the owner’s mother, whose name the hotel carries. Our stay there did not just feel comfortable, it felt like taking part in someone’s family and history. The amazing hostess Gülrü was not able to meet us, but she was on the phone with us to welcome us and to answer any questions we had. Her beautiful assistants Meltem and Enes became our friends from day one, and made us feel more at home than anywhere. The cleanliness of the establishment, its closeness to the marina, pigeon island and the taxi stop and especially to the Bazaar made our stay very agreeable, especially that we were traveling with children who were so happy to have their very comfortable beds and enough space to play around the suite. Gülrü even washed our clothes and hung them which was an amazing surprise, and we were given very cute souvenirs on our last day. Maison Bahar is a beautiful establishment and a very memorable one, and we will surely return for other visits.
