Usually people book single room because they need: silence, comfort, privacy. I got none of it. No bathroom, no air conditioner, no tv, no even a mirror. Loud yelling from female administrator during the whole day, like it is her own home. If you need a rest - that would be wrong place. This sums up the whole impression of Ankara - overpriced, unfriendly, uncomfortable.

I came there walking at 3 am (the way from bus terminal to hotel took 2 hours, and the road was really dirty) and asked administrator if late check-in gives me chance for late checkout. Administrator said i can check out at 2 pm. I believed him and made an appointment at 2 pm. They took full price for a day and kicked me off at 12:00. When i said administrator promised me extra time, which i need because of late coming, they said, quote, "THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM". Nothing said. 
Compared to my positive experience in Istanbul and Izmir, I can say level of this particular hotel service had left a lot to desire.

A place to be avoided.

I had a good stay at this hostel. The staff were friendly - it was in overall very clean - the dorm was bright and sheets were clean. The only negative thing is that it's a bit out of the centre, although very close to the bus station

Great and calm hostel

We visited the hostel in late August, at that moment we started our awful journey in Ankara...
The room is moderate in size but there are no fan or air conditioner, and also the room is hot.
The toilet is fair but there is just warm water and the lighting is poor, while I was in shower I thought I was in a haunted house!
The most awful thing is the bed! It has numerous of fleas and We were bited the whole night!!!
Breakfast was just fair, one of the staff shouted at us not to take some food which was placed in the common table.
We felt humiliated and we won't visit this awful hostel again!
