great value for money! located in a non-touristy area, the hotel offers excellent service in terms of hospitality, clean rooms, 24 hours hot water, and good heating arrangement in the room. The staff is very cheerful and helpful, willing to go an extra yard to help their guests. The hotel serves a large buffet breakfast, easily one of the very best we had in different hotels in Turkey - they even started the day's buffet almost an hour early because we wanted an early check-out and the spread was really really hearty. There are a few good restaurants nearby, where you can eat cheap AND really satisfyingly since it's a non-touristy location. This hotel is an excellent base for Ankara's tourist sites because it's a 10 lira ride to the historical sights zone (Anatolian civilisations museum/Ulus) if you don't want to walk at the beginning of the day or uphill, and an easy walk down back when you're done, with tea, baklava and much local conversation and good-will awaiting you both ways. The hotel found us our taxi - 25YTL to the otogar - and rates were comparable to what we saw on the street; they also went out of their way to get us bus ticket bookings for the journey the previous day. Unstinting and high-calibre service, priorities truly in the right place. Highly recommended.
