Older hotel with friendly staff, hot shower & near a fun market & taxi

Its very cheap but hotel smells everywhere cigarettes, toilet smells and very small room.Staff are very friendly but hotel is old

Honestly I didn't like the whole way from the first moment the receptionist went out to talk to the taxi driver in bad way. He spoken in Turiksh language.2- 2nd thing: then when he prevented my mother from entering the hotel. Instead of welcoming us.. the receptionist didn't allow us to come in.Note: my mother is sick and old and in wheelchair. 3rd: despite All above terrible things, he said and insisted that there is No- Reservation.4th thing: He didn't speak English.  And always say "Yok Reseravtion". Yok means no.So my mother was very upset and we left upset.And we lost time and money and effort to reach there. Plus it wasnt clean. Most importantly he went out to prevent us to enter the hotel. Which was veey shock!!Very bad treatment.So please I would be very grateful if you please refund us the money. As I paid online.Really it was Unpleasant experience.

There was quite a big difference between photos on booking and reality. Breakfast was disappointing, not even close to that presented on photos. In bathroom there was mold on the joints and it was in really bad condition. The flush in our bathroom didnt work and the water spilled on whole floor in bathroom, but after reporting this, the staff had come and repaired it but first he lighted the cigarette. I am not sure if the Yavuz Hotel is not a worker's hostel, as we didnt see any women or any couple, only single men during the breakfast.

Im really diappointed

We did not have high expectations, considering the reviews and the price. Indeed, even though it is forbidden to smoke, the rooms smell a lot. The toilet smells a bit too. 
Breakfast is simple but ok (except the packed bread, when there are so many good bakeries close by).
If you want something cheap for 1 night, it is ok. But I would not recommend it for longer.

Ok for a short stay

the room we have been given was completely messed up. the linen were dirty, with human hair on them and the towels were laying on a dirty blanket on top of the beds. the room was filled with a very heavy smell of cygarettes that has haunted our nostrils for 2 days. the bathroom was indipendent, but very dirty and unsafe, since most of the pipes were leaking. there were 2 couples of slippers that we haven t tried to use since when we got there they were wet , like if they had been just used by someone else.

I booked this hotel through Agoda website. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was very friendly, we paid cash for our booking. We had to await for awhile since the room is not ready yet, they served us tea at the kitchen. One of the staff showed us the room and he even told us the location for toilet and shower room. The lift is small, so you have to wait since it only fits 2 person in the lift. The staff are really friendly, kudos to that. The breakfast is pretty decent, they served tomato, cucumber, boiled eggs, tea, jam, peanut butter, honey, cream cheese, cheese, bread, olives and salami. It was good. The hotel location is close to Haci Bayram Camii, Ankara Castle, Hisar, and Anatolian Museum. The heater in our room works and I had a good sleep, the duvet is warm and comfy, suitable for winter season. The cleaniness of toilet is average, the shower room is clean. They provided soap in the shower room.  The hotel is located next to a restaurant, so you can find food easily. For students and travellers who has limited budget, this hotel is recommended for you. I had a nice experience in this hotel.

We had four local rooms, it cost 30 euros plus breakfast, it's a lot of money. The room was basically clean, there was a problem with paying for the ticket and the manager who met us didn't speak English, but it was sign language that made everyone understand each other. And thank you for hosting me later.
