This hotel was a good option for a short stay in Ankara, at least in my experience. I got an online discount price and it was great value. It's right in the heart of the city and it only cost me 15 lira by taxi to the main sites, or a 3km walk. Yes it's dated looking and the furniture appeared worn, but it was value for a convenient location right on both metro lines, and I slept fine in the room. Front windows are double glazed but it won't block out the lively night market so bring earplugs or go to bed when it closes. It was cool when I visited, but closed windows in hotter/colder months might be a concern, so maybe try to get a back room. Wifi is free and good, reception spoke good English, the bathroom was clean, bar fridge prices were passable. Breakfast buffet looked quite good though get in fairly early if it's busy.
