I was on my way to work, and I had to stay at a hotel near the airport to stay overnight and not go to town, a medium-sized hotel, clean, nice staff, a TV, a place to dine, bathe and sleep.

Nice hotel.

Hotel close to the airport, convenient for business travellers. 1980s structure, spacious rooms but to be renovated, in Turkish style. Good quality continental breakfast, friendly and available reception staff.

Building, romos and furniture too careles (even road is not paved till door. Hotel and room lighting too weak, and not airport transfer which should be a must in a 5-star hotel close to airport. On other side very friendly and helpful staff.

Absolutelly careless - not 5 stars worth

I'm guessing if he was in Italy he'd be shut down by the old, badly reduced room, no Wi-Fi like cleaning, confusing staff, don't justify the 5 stars, it's indecent that the turquoise's travels included him on the tour.

Fascinating

With the Turkish Travels you stay in this hotel, which was five-star about 30 years ago, okay. The rooms are a little decadent and not very clean, but fortunately you get tired and you don't look at yourself. The food was the best we found during the whole tour and that's to be said. Free Wi-Fi and clean bathroom. The real drawback is that it's 30-45 minutes from Ankara and this forces you to wake up early, but it's a demerite for the Turkish and not the hotel.

Not four stars, but passing.

Fatiguing both in appearance and form dirty rooms with furniture that falls apart e.g. in the room the stall of broken clothes was leaning on the dressing room tv failing faucet washing machine was losing poor buffet and quality worthy of street food

5* decaying

I was in this hotel for job matters, and only because it is very near to the airport and the customer I wanted to visit the next day. Officially, it is a 5-star hotel. I can promise you that it would be a 2 or 3-star hotel in any of the european countries where I've been 'til now.

It is always empty (I've been there five or six times), the breakfast is very limited and it is complicated to find someone speaking english (apart from other guests or the reception people). There are grumms who follow you everywhere waiting for some money. But they do not deserve it.

The good part is that almost all factories in the sorroundings of Ankara are in this area and that the airport is about 5 minutes from this hotel. Nothing else.

5 stars? Are you sure?

I don't know who missed this hotel 5 stars. It's 2 at most! I decided to go to this hotel because my flight was going to be at 6 o'clock. I'll never do it again, I'd rather drive 30 minutes from the city. The hotel seems to leave on arrival. No luggage service, you have to drag the luggage up the stairs yourself. At the reception barely spoke any English, Deutch or any other language except Turkish. Telephone information from the room was impossible, I had to go down several times to ask for internet, taxi or ATM. And if the staff understood the question they could just say yes or no anyway. But the hangars and bathrooms are urgently being renovated even if it was a good price to pay.

I'd rather have 30 minutes in a cab than this hotel again!

There are only two good things worth to mention about this hotel: quite frienly staff and location close to Ankara Esenboga airport. The room we got wasn't really clean and most of furnitures as well as bathroom amenities require serious improvement. Upon arrival one of two available elevators didn't work while the second was occupied by a group that just have checked-in. I got a room on the 5th floor and although usually I don't mind walking with my backpack, I was forced to walk up and down twice as the key card to my room wasn't working at all. Finally - probably the most ridiculous thing about this hotel - despite its name the hotel does not offer any kind of transportation to/from airport.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel

Hotel near the airport but far from Ankara to visit, five-star hotel, but considering maybe a four, maintenance and cleaning barely enough, good buffet dinner, varied and good breakfast.
