Great staff even though there was a language barrier. Communication in English was a little akward at times, but we always managed to get a message across with a smile in return. Well appointed room in very good condition. Rooms looked like they must have been renovated quite recently. Absolutely clean room and facilities. Fantastic location. On a almost vehicle free street. No parking on site, but plenty of free parking just 100 metres away. Breakfast is provided at a restaurant a few doors down the road, but when we needed breakfast early, the staff arranged for us to eat at another restaurant.” Nice balconies overlooking the street. Not sure of the view from rooms on the other side of the hotel, but we were happy to relax on our balcony and watch the people below. Restaurants everywhere. Very short walk to the beach or to the river. Would happily stay here again. Air conditioning in the room worked well. Bathroom was very clean. Refrigerator in the room was not working properly so they immediately had it fixed for us.
