There is no television or there is a very old television!
The temperature is 9 degrees and there is no heating in the rooms!
The cover does not warm well!
The food is like hospital food!
What is this ???? It doesn't deserve even one star! Very unfortunate....

Happy with the hotel and the staff are friendly, There was no English families at the hotel throughout the week we stayed which was certainly different.
The pool was good and clean and like any holiday destination abroad there is activities in the pool at times. 
The bar was open 10am - midnight and the all inclusive was like most a selection of food but not massive options available. However was nice to try different meals.
The only let down was the locals who holidaying there the actual people from Tunisia who where rude, pushy and the obsession with grabbing plates when they are at the back of the queue for food. We had to listen to one argument which was all shouting about food and politics. However we have up on the last 2 nights and went out for food which was much easier and no pushing. 
Again pizza bar opened 4-5 for cake and pizza but like rodents you had to push in to get something no manners from the locals again. Rooms where good got interconnecting rooms and this worked perfectly for our family kept clean and cool no sign of bugs in the rooms. 
Breakfast was 6am-10am, lunch 1pm-2.30pm and dinner 7-9pm don’t let the booking sights lie to you saying it’s 10am- midnight that is the bar. Don’t bother with coffee and tea is infused and the milk is fresh but not great as it you get floating milk in the top of your brews.
However bottle of water and coke by the pool worked and the beer was grand but again only in half pint barrels. (Soft drinks sprite, Fanta or coke) but at least they give you cold bottles of water too. 
As said earlier staff where great friendly and welcoming just a shame about the annoying boat salesman who was just a pain in the arse otherwise if you say no money everytime he walks past he’ll leave you alone haha. 
Don’t think I’ve missed much else not far from the marina and if you go out of the hotel and turn right there is a water park 10 minute walk as well as more restaurants and the trains are there too. 
Plenty of shops and restaurants some take card but take cash out at the AMEN bank across the road of the roundabout and use cash as most shops don’t have card machines.

Nice family hotel and very little English people

Avoid this hotel, it’s filthy and unhygienic. This hotel was poorly maintained and cleaned, unhygienic and unhealthy, infested with ants and cockroaches and poorly managed.
The pool containing hair and grass. Water coming down the slides was stopped for long periods of time 2 or 3 times a day. Outdoor entertainment by the pool area was loud until 12am. The indoor pool was closed throughout our stay. The toilets near the lobby were filthy and slippery. The floor was wet with puddles of water. No hot drinks (e.g. tea and coffee) included as part of the All Inclusive package. We were told that we had to pay extra for these.
During snack time cake and coffee was provided between 16.30 and 17.30 however within 15 mins of this time cake and coffee was not available. Food was bland and the same everyday. Plates, cutlery and cups were not cleaned properly. Guests were allowed to smoke in the lobby even though there are no smoking signs.

We went to this hotel me my daughter and grandson . Arrived about 12 we had time to go to our room before lunch time . Arrived in the lunch queue and waited . Wow I was amazed that when the doors were about to be open how many people pushed in front of us .we were told they were Algerian . We got a table then went to see what was for lunch … no English on offer at all the only desert was a melon or peach … when cake was put out theses people filled there plates right up so none left …  I went to reception to ask if they don’t accommodate for the English people and did ask could we move hotels after 2 hours we had both not felt at home at this hotel .. we were told there was a pizza area round the bar  … we tried  this for lunch but you had to get a member of staff to order … one a day we waited from 1.00 until 2.45 for 2 pizzas … ridiculous. We spoke to English family’s there .. they used to go out to eat as not suitable . Breakfast was the same everyday pain au chocolate which one day I got out of the serving tray in the dining room my daughter said for eat that … there was ants on which were dead … did not eat  them again . Tables as pic was dirty .. no wonder they use table cloths … the other pic shoes people in the pool when it closes at 6 and told to get out .. they do what they want . Rooms are very dated and lots of ants in them .., no hairdryers or kettles . Staff we met were lovely … the animation team were amazing with my grandson .. which he loved … adult entertainment well we couldn’t understand as no English was spoken then … thus could be a nice hotel … if you take English people then accomadate them as was not a cheap week . Would we return … sadly no

One thing to add - Hammamet is a big town and the Green Golf Hotel is in the Southern Jasmin part about 10km from the Fort area and the much nicer beaches.   The private beach area of the hotel is horrible - full of rubbish and smelly seaweed and around 100m from the water which (when I visited) was full of jellyfish.

The staff in the hotel are great - very friendly and happy to help.  They are the hotel’s best asset.

Make yourself comfortable, as this is going to be a lengthy review.
On arriving at the Hotel Green Golf, it was after dark so the exterior of the building and the grounds were not entirely visible, but all seemed to be very presentable and in good order, the lobby is large and spacious, in a very good state of repair with a fountain in the middle (it was not working at this time), we were greeted by the concierge who booked us in and supplied us with our all-inclusive wrist bands. We were issued with our room keys and ushered in the direction of the lift. Along with myself, my partner and our two children we also had no more than 45Kg of luggage, the lift safety information advised that the lift could safely manage up to 650Kg, no problem at most with everything combined the maximum we could weigh is 450kg, so we all enter the lift hit the button for the second floor and instantly an alarm sounds and a red light flashed showing maximum weight exceeded. As we were hot tired and hungry, this was not a great start! Upon arrival to our rooms, I was pleasantly surprised, the room was spacious containing a super king size bed, a single bed, ensuite bathroom, a small kitchenette and fridge and balcony with a table and chairs. There are adjoining door s back to back to the next room where our boys were sleeping, each door can only be opened from one side ensuring privacy if required. The downside to the above was that the kitchenette hob and sink did not work
Luggage dumped into rooms, back downstairs for some much-needed food and drink. The concierge advised us that we had arrived too late for food (the airlines fault, not the hotel), but the bar was still open until midnight. The Bar is small considering the size of the hotel, but not a major issue during summer months as it was quite pleasant to sit outside in temperatures of around 20-25°C. The bar was understaffed, usually only having one or two staff, who were expected to tend the bar, doing both hot and cold drinks and collecting glasses/ashtrays from both the bar, terrace and approximately a half an acre of poorly lit garden. The children got a 1.25 litre bottle of Fanta/Coke each, a Vodka and coke Milady and a beer for myself, both of which were served in tiny glasses, but not a problem, as you could go back as often as you wanted. The choice of drinks was very limited, the only spirit available initially was vodka and that ran out regularly before the end of service (this did improve later in the week to include whisky, gin and on the last night of our stay some rather agreeable Pastis) cold drinks ran out very quickly due to small under bar fridges and none in cold storage for replenishing, hot drinks also had issues, as the water was kept in insulated jugs on the bar it was a bit of Russian roulette as to how hot or cold your drinks would be. The bar staff were polite, friendly and very helpful, most spoke Arabic, some English, German and French. Consider giving them a tip of 10+ Tunisian Dinar a shift, as they work really hard in difficult conditions, they really appreciate it.
Food is served three times a day in an undersized restaurant with too many tables crammed into it. Breakfast is served 7am until 9:30 am, Lunch 1pm until 2:30pm and Dinner 7pm until 9:30pm.
Breakfast usually comprised of hard boiled eggs, rice pudding, croissants, pain au chocolat, bread rolls (like mini baguettes, there would normally be more choice but the war in Ukraine has seriously affected bread production as grain is not getting through in plentiful supply), a variety of local dishes, olives and salads. There are no sausages, bacon or black pudding, this is a Muslim country after all.
Lunch and Dinner comprised of similar types of dishes, pasta, couscous a variety of potato, French fries, fish, chicken, beef and lamb dishes and my favourite Merguez! Not all dishes are available at every service, but there was always enough choice to keep most people happy, with the exception of fussy eaters and children, there are no nuggets or burgers, the choice is the same for everyone. Alongside the main dishes there were always olives, a variety of different salads, fantastic tomatoes and a variety of sauces. Haute cuisine it was not, but it was good honest tasty food, not worthy of the bad things some of the guests were saying.
 Dessert was very limited usually big bowls of melon slices and very small pieces of cake that tasted of little more than vanilla and sugar despite different appearance came out on small trays far too slowly for demand, it was usually swiped up by the plateful by children later to be left on a table mostly uneaten, occasionally there was a real treat, a chocolate or vanilla bagatelle appeared, and I assure you it was delicious! Plates, cutlery, cups and glasses regularly ran out and were replaced in very small quantities very slowly.
It is advertised that there is a BBQ/Grill available, but this is only open between 4pm and 5:30pm serving tiny squares of pizza no bigger than a match box, of which you are only allowed 4 each, the same cakes as in main meals, croissants and pain au chocolat, for some reason anything else was to be paid for individually despite being all inclusive.
The rooms were cleaned every day, including fresh bedding and towels, the cleaners were also very polite and friendly.
Moving onto amenities, Wi-Fi is extremely limited, only available in the hotel lobby and as they only use a domestic router, they have a limited number of connections available and you will regularly be unable to connect as the network is full. I would however recommend getting a local pay as you go sim card as they are very inexpensive to buy, but you will need to take your passport with you to buy one.
Outside is a large roughly half an acre of garden including a pool with a children’s area, 5 water slides that only work at set times of day, (my partner did cut herself quite deeply on the slide, so please be careful) there are an inadequate number of parasols and sun loungers available, if you don’t get up early enough, you will end up on a plastic chair with no shade!
The grassed areas are in a poor state, not having been looked after for years and inadequate watering has resulted in a spiky thorny growth that has been cut short enough to give the illusion of a lawn.
The entertainment is mainly aimed at younger children, with the exception of the daily water polo match and aquarobics, personally I found the music to way too loud (even on my balcony 200 meters away) mainly consisting of 90s/2000s dance covers that did no more for me than give me a headache.
The indoor pool was closed and in an obvious state of disrepair as you could see through the glass panels of the door near the bar, the Turkish bath and tennis courts I assume exist in another dimension!
There are two sets of public area toilets, the ones next to the indoor pool being closes leaving one set near the dining room to serve for all, I do not advise using these wearing bare feet, sandals or flip flops, the toilets are fitted with a shattaff bidet shower for cleaning yourself and the floor is regularly covered in copious amounts of questionable water. I would advise you take your own toilet paper if you use these as there is rarely much in there, also usually nothing to dry your hands with.
The hotel is conveniently situated a short walk from several shops a supermarket and many restaurants if you fancy a change, the beach and the old town Medina are just over a kilometre away, including a bar on the beach that belongs to the hotel where the bar is included in the all inclusive package and there are a small number of sun loungers for guests to use. 
I could keep going for pages, some good, some not so good, one thing that needs to be kept in mind is that the tour operators are keeping the lions share of your holiday payment and that the hotel is operating on a shoestring budget, considering this hotel has been closed for 5 years and the country is still recovering from the effects of Covid, I think that they are doing a fantastic job!
Would I stay again? Absolutely yes, but I will give it a year or two to give them the time needed to do itself justice.

Green golf is a beautiful hotel I visited four times was a pleasant experience especially the last time there has been a development of the best in terms of eating, nights and bedrooms I would recommend it to tourists
