Dirty hotel full of cockroaches inside the rooms!
Uncomfortable environment, just waste of money for the sake of this fake quarantine ! 
Cockroaches are inside my bed even not just in the room ! Big gecko in my balcony like a crocodile !

I read the reviews here and I must say I am shocked. Number the hotel is not closed at all. Yes they are trying to renovate but it is open and operating very well I must add. It is about 20 mins from the airport but it is situated right on the beach. We literally walked less than 5 mins to the ocean. The first room we had even though we asked for a double, was actually two twin beds put together. I had just come from the United States so I didn't want to complain till I got some sleep. My husband went downstairs to ask if we can actually get a double bed because we slept very uncomfortable and they were very nice and helpful to make us happy. Our second room was AMAZING! It was huge! And had a second floor with twin beds, I guess this would be great for a family of four. It had a balcony overlooking an amazing and huge pool. By the pool they have a restaurant, arcade, bar, and a gift shop. As we walked around the hotel we saw they are trying to expand and renovate another pool by the beach and some other buildings with more rooms. Breakfast was included but wasn't that great. It was basically pastries, coffee, tea, and milk but for the price I got the hotel, I didn't care. I stayed 4 days 3 nights for $96. 

Very nice hotel & staff!

Okay first off it was my first time in tunisia. I came there to marry my long time boyfriend who is a native of Tunisia. We reserved 2 nights and the first night our air conditioner wasn't working at all we told the front desk that evening that it wasn't working they didn't do anything next day they finally changed our room and our shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. So we changed rooms and the air still didn't work the best. I cried that first night because I felt so hot and sick so I had to sit outside just to be able to breath. So I wanted to reserve another night but their Internet was not working there so thy wanted to charge me 120 td to stay even I asked for 1 free night for the terrible first night I had the manager laughed at me and said that would be very impossible and quoted to me that NO place in the whole world would do that...and I come back with ahhh yes they would apparently he has never been to the US to some Southern resorts they would have accommodatied that request. The manager was lucky that we even stayed at the hotel in the first place. Not to mention I was the ONLY American at that resort! I do NOT recommend this place for Noone! Worst hotel experience ever!

Terrible experience ever in a hotel!!!

This hotel is awful! I have never ever stayed in a hotel as bad and this, and I am used to staying in cheap accommodation when travelling and volunteering abroad! To say this is a four star hotel is a joke! I have stayed in four star in Tunisia before and this is not it! Currently complaining to the agency we booked with, they are doing anything possible to avoid liability for this awful hotel! Staff are rude and unhelpful! Mould grew on the walls and ceiling, highly damaging for someone with a health condition! The balcony doors did not lock and staff used a stick for 'security' this stick did not even keep it locked and as on the ground floor giving anyone access!! Bath towels provided were dirty and had hairs on! Bathroom was horrific!! No shower curtain dirty bath, no toilet roll! The food is the same day in day out and has flies on! The staff lie to you saying they are going to move you and that their manager is coming (the manager never came).staff expect tips when helping with bags to your rooms and when you do not give them they are rude and aggressive! The hotel rooms are dirty with dust everywhere,the bedsheets are horrible, there are phones in there connected to nothing! The list goes on! Do not stay here!

Do not go!!! this place should be illegal!

we went as a couple, last minute, expecting it to be terrible from the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised.
all staff were welcoming, and helpfull, to the extent of the receptionist helping us find a way to the airport, after missing our transferres, we had no money left, and she really pulled some strings, and we got there just in time.
the food was very good considering we were ther for 10 days, on all inclusive, we did get slightly bored of it, but to be expected. we ate out a few times to break it up, so all in all very good.....no stomach bugs of any sort!
the rooms were adequate, and the cleaning staff were very efficiant.
the excursions are a must, good days out, and stops u from getting cabin fever, unless u like doing a whole lot of nothing.
the 'animation team' were great , providing entertainment each night and getting us involved in activitys.
outside the resort was slightly intimidating, but once we got past that we ventured out on the train, to various places, (forgive the spelling) Sidi borsaied was especialy charming, with white buildings and blue doors and cobbled streets were a lovely thing to see.
overall a difrent, but brilliant holiday.

I recently stayed at Sun Beach in September 2012 and can honestly say I have never been so disgusted in all my life. I cannot believe people still have this hotel on offer. This is not a four star hotel! It does not even deserve a 1 star. The food was so terrible for 10 days I did not eat a thing but bread and water which we had to buy from the shop. There are flies everywhere including all over the food which is put out hours before the restaurant is opened giving them plenty of time to crawl all over it. 
On the second day my sister was so hungry she decided to eat something. Big mistake! She had food poisoning so bad we had to go to a pharmacy in Tunis and buy medicine. We did not eat the food there again. Instead we bought our own crisps etc which is pretty poor for an all inclusive! The alcohol was undrinkable except for the Heineken which again you had to pay for! Anything else was served in dirty plastic beakers that made even water taste funny!
The entertainment was dreadful and was more for the Russians and Polish people that invaded the hotel. Unfortunately staying in your room was not an alternative as it was so infested with mosquitos and gnats you got bitten to death! The electricity worked intermittently and we had to keep asking at reception for them to fix it. 
We did go out a couple of times but we found the places very busy and were constantly pestered by men literally dragging you into their shops. It was very dirty and the woman were very rude! You could not go directly outside the hotel as there was not much but waste ground. We did decide to go in search of some food one day. Twenty minutes away there is a few shops but we got followed by men and hackled at so promptly returned to the hotel.  
All in all the experience was very traumatic and I did not enjoy it one bit. Unfortunately the weather was not great either making it even more depressing. We did try to change our flights back but there was no availability so we had to stay 10 nights. I'm just glad we didn't book 2 weeks. The few other English people there all had food poisoning and one woman was so ill she had to stay in bed the whole time and when she told them at reception they did nothing. It's safe to say I would never return here and recommend that people take the reviews on here for there word and go somewhere else! 
We booked with Purple Travel and they should be ashamed to have this hotel on there books! Jail would have been a more pleasant stay!
