I Visited Sandy Point Village for a fortnight and it was really great and relaxing. I stayed in Trini Wing section and found it very pleasent and a bit of luxury to have full access to the pool for a morning swim or a night swim. The houskeepers did a good job with the clearingen and was very friendly. The reception staff with Shinnikq and her collegues let me check out in the afternoon instead of 11:00 am, so thank you all for making my stay comfortable. I really recomend this hotel if you want to save some money and still have everything you need when visiting Crown Point in Tobago.

Privacy, calming and cosy

I was visiting from Canada together with my family from Trinidad. Wasn't the first time being here. As usual the place didn't disappoint. The place was clean and comfortable, took advantage of the facilities as well, three hot tubs to choose from. Entertainment on-site. We took part in karaoke. Free shuttle service to and from excursion. Beds are comfy and close to everything.

Every time I go to Tobago and, the Sandy Point Beach Club resort in particular, I feel sad for persons who have never experienced the two.

Tobago is such a lovely place and the Sandy Point resort accompanies it superbly.

Don’t expect a 5 star hotel experience but expect a relaxing, no frills, “kick your shoes off” time for you and the family. I think all rooms come with a kitchen (I might be wrong) so you don’t have to totally rely on purchasing food.

Sandy Point is right on the sea front with a large grounds overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Sitting on the benches at sunset is a sight to behold as there is an unhindered view of the sun dropping behind the horizon.

For the fishing enthusiast there is a small jetty where you can “throw a line” but catching fish is a “hit and miss”. Call it quality relaxing time.

Renting a vehicle is recommended as there are many fine beaches and sights to behold. 

I thank God everyday that a quick boat ride or flight will transport me into paradise anytime that my schedule permits.

Sandy Point Beach Club, Tobago

I visited Sandy Point on February 27 to 2 March. My Fiance and I got breakfast inclusive package so mornings were easy. Breakfast menu is definitely limited, however, the food is really good so was worth it as it was included in the rate. The room we were in had electrical problems so we were instantly relocated to another room. The WiFi then gave trouble but was rectified in the morning. The grounds were pretty well kept but definitely some more maintenance needed. Overall was a pretty good stay and the rooms aren't bad. Some upkeep needed but not a bad stay at all!!

Covid Vacation

Lovely setting.  Very rustic apartment.  Right on the beach.  Restaurant overlooking the sea.  Within walking distance of the airport and a couple of the most popular beached on the island.  Beach on site is excellent for sun bathing but not swimming.

This is the place to eat. they make great t bone steak and their Barracuda. Yum. The view is something you can only dream of. I even watched the sunset from here. I only came in the beach side as i stayed next door. The stairs are hidden behind the tree and are steep. 

Steak and  Lobster  Restaurant

This isn’t a resort to refer any guest. The place is in a state of disrepair. Spent the first night in a room that felt unclean. The bathroom was despicable. The room very dark and I inviting. I slept very uncomfortable. The next day staff member came to room inquire if room was comfortable, I replied in the negative. We were placed in another room somewhat improved. Overall the stay wasn’t good. I would not recommend this hotel .

Most of the staff were nice. The restaurant was great- good food and reasonable prices. The pool was also wonderful. However, housekeeping did not change the towels. We had to go to the front desk to ask for clean towels and we got pool towels (one of which had a hole). The bed contained two flimsy blankets - not a nice comforter like what you would have expected. The shower was disappointing. Overall not terrible for the price but it’s better to spend extra and stay somewhere else.

The location is great walking distance beach, stores etc... BUT no wifi at all in the rooms is a huge negative, you have to go by the pool area. Also had to leave a $100TT for the remote and you have to go to the front to borrow an iron very inconvient

Over the phone we were promised a room near the pool, with wifi connectivity. For the price it seemed like a good deal until we got there. We were put in a room away from the pool and wifi, the room itself was in very poor condition with the bathroom being extremely unclean and there were ants everywhere. The blanket provided for the main bed was full of hair, and the extra bedroom had no AC. The next day we were told that was not the room promised to us over the phone, and were told nothing could be done about our current accommodation, because something was wrong with the room we were promised. Even though we called the day before, we were now told something was suddenly wrong with the room?  We politely checked out and searched for lodging elsewhere. I highly recommend spending your money elsewhere.
