Hotel is in a nice central location in the city, and the beach is only 2 blocks away.  The public areas of the hotel are nice, but rooms are very basic and in need of update. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the rooms, but they also have nets on the beds. Staff is very friendly and some even speak a little English. Lobby has a bar and restaurant.

Quant hotel near the beach

We had a great stay in Hotel Aurore. The food was fantastic and we often opted to eat in. Beautiful courtyard and setting, sheltered from the busy (and somewhat polluted) city outside. Would definitely recommend!

Oasis in the middle of Lome

Nice lovely backyard with a spa. Installation were just ok. Wifi did not reach the room. Did not feel safe outside, staff was ok. The major thing is that the two nights I spent there (at the beginning of my trip and at the end), I ended up with dozens of small bug bites, even though I could not see any bugs. Bites disapeared the day after leaving the hotel.

Could be better could be worst

Near to the beach where is a nice café. Test the matress of your room because some are far too soft. Also some pillows. Good kitchen. Friendly staff. Nice little garden with a tiny tube. Reliable taxi / motor driver in front of the hotel. 

Nice, real african hotel 

The hotel is clean, but the pictures of the rooms are much better than the rooms themselves (at least the one they gave me). The hotel is close to a beach but not really a beach you can sun bath (too far from the water). The price I paid was too high for what I got. For the same price, you can get something directly on the beach. Besides, they were not extremely helpful when asking them about what to do in Lome or Togo in general. They need to up-the-game if they want to attract more tourists. I got a much better place for the same price right on the beach. The staff was, however, nice and cordial. 

Not the best place

The hotel is located close to the beach. It's clean and the food is delicious. The bar is decorated very beautifully and they have nice drinks. The rooms have enough space and a mosquito-net over every bed. The staff is friendly and very helpful (also guided us to the beach at night).

Very nice

As I was sharing the room, we opted for a 3 person extra-large room. I was shown a separate 'cottage' with its own entrance and verandah during my visit. We were given a slightly larger room with a very poor airconditioner system that barely kept the room slightly cool throughout our stay.

The service leaves a lot to be desired. One can feel the very hands-off management style of the hotel. The staff are often lounging around in the heat, and numerous times food was served late and cold, having just been sitting in the kitchen and waiting. The quality of the food itself could be quite inconsistent as well.

At every level, Hotel Aurore cannot compare with its sister hotel Napoleon!

Very Mediocre at all Levels

The description of this property is a bit misleading-it's more of a guesthouse than a hotel (the 'complimentary amenities' was a used bar of soap put back into a well-worn box!)-basic room (bed, table and cupboard). Outside area was pleasant enough to sit. Fine for the price-but don't go expecting a hotel

Food was nice,room was clean ,that's the only good I can say about the place,anything else is a bomb. I reserve any other comments.I only know I never want to stay in that place they call a hotel.they lied in reservation details,charges n services. I cannot recommend it to anyone I care about.
