Dili

Timor Lodge is a wonderful hotel with a large compound for sports, conferences, events, etc.
The bungalow rooms are spacious and comfortable.   The restaurant is located next to a nice swimming pool; breakfasts (included in my booking) are quite tasty as are the pizzas, available for takeaway.
Service at all levels is efficient and friendly.  Special thanks to the reception team who were extremely helpful in explaining different locations of interest in Dili, and also in helping me arrange travel outside the capital.
N.B. As of now, while bookings can be made in advance, all room, restaurant or other payments must be made in dollars at the hotel itself.  Payment in advance or by credit card was not possible.

Great, spacious hotel with friendly professional staff

Great facility, Idris the manager and his team go the extra mile to make you feel at ease. Dili is a hectic melting pot but wrther sitting around the pool or using the hotels other facilities this is an oasis of calm. Very handy for the airport being only 5 minutes away.

Dili on your doorstep

Had a long stopover and Stayed one night at Timor Lodge, just by the airport. Transfer is free and the staff is so friendly. I had a single room in one of the trailers, and they used to house the soldiers during the war. But it was clean, and the bar/restaurang has a huge pool. Good food and excellent service. The bed has seen better days, but good valuble for the money.

Simple but good

We spent our last night here to be close to the airport for a early flight.  It’s very basic, but clean and cheap.  Food is good and staff friendly.  Pool area is a highlight. It’s very cheap and I hence I got what I paid for.

Conveniently close to airport 

I recently stayed here on 2 occasions with a group of 20 which I was travelling with. We stayed in the villa rooms, which were quite luxurious considering that we were in Timor. The facilities were top notch including the pool area and dining room, where many hours were spent. The staff were very accommodating and the food prepared for us was a high standard. Upon first arrival the surroundings had me a little worried about safety, but once inside I did not feel unsafe once. With the high fences and guards it is a very safe space for a large school group. The courtesy bus to and from the airport is very handy also

Very safe and great place to stay

We stayed in Timor Lodge for two different times  and I must say that the place is affordable and worth the price
The customer service or rather workers are very friendly and ready to help, the restaurant has great meals and prices and the pool is just amazing
We stayed in a studio and everything about it was perfect only that wifi sometimes was too weak hopefully they check on that! 
And a lot of thanks to the hotel manager who helped us solve our atm card problem by providing quick and effective solution and even offered to drop us to the airport! Cheers

Affordable and quiet place 

This is a 3rd world lodge, and expensive for what you get, but that's Timor Leste unfortunately. The pool is good , the meals are average, infact if you go outside to Timor Plaza the food is a lot better for the same price,. The rooms are basic with no equipment although some have kitchens. The staff are helpful in the face of adversity, I would not stay here unless it is necessary for the bike race

Tour de Timor Venue

I was forced to stay here on a business trip. It would NEVER be my choice. It is an old barracks. The accommodation I experienced was very basic. The villa had basic furniture and tin beds. The grounds are not pleasant surrounds and I had to carry my bags more than 500m to my villa negotiating rough ground and dog feces. The saving grace for this place is the pool and restaurant area, great relaxmosphere no wonder they use it as their representation. The food was very good, no complaints. I also have to commend the staff for being very warm and welcoming and making you feel that you were being looked after.
