Came here by bicycle in the end of April (dry/off season) and i seemed to be the only guest around in the whole place! The bungalow i got was very nice. Clean and with all amenities. Wi-Fi on the grounds was not very good. The beach is situated a few stairs down as the name might suggest. It is a rocky beach just as you come down the stairs but not more than a few minutes walk gets you to a small but gorgeous white beach. Fishing is supposedly quite good and the staff will gladly lend you some stuff to try your luck. I tried the chefs skills by ordering a Tom Yum Koong for dinner and It was just great. No complaints at all. Just the right amount of everything. Galangal, lemongrass, mushrooms spicy chili and shrimp. 8 out of 10 for the food. The staff does not speak any English at all. But the place really IS a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Right in the middle between Trat and the Cambodian border. Nature in this part of Thailand is really gorgeous. And I wish I had had more time and money to have stayed a few more days just relaxing and fishing off the beach. Recommended!
