Stayed in Unit 17, directly facing the water. Room was comfortable for a typical Thai hotel, but the peaceful location and view were great. Bathroom was roomy with a big shower, single sink, and privy. Room itself was basic but with screened windows opening to a fresh breeze. Ate one dinner meal here and it was surprisingly good. Shrimp and squid were not overcooked as is typical in other parts of Thailand, but along this portion of Sea, good cooks seem plentiful. Our two breakfasts were average with the option of Khao-tom (a tasty light rice soup with chix, pork, or shrimp), or the ubiquitous American breakfast; both served with coffee/tea, toast, and juice. Restaurant prices are quite reasonable. Staff is very local, not so professional but very pleasant, and with a little patience and encouragement (small tips) they are very accommodating. There is a nice little boardwalk that wraps around the west edge of the cove to a viewing platform located 50m into the water. A nice place for sunrise or sunset. Also, spend a moment on the adult-sized rocking horses, nothing much better to let the inner-child out!
