The only place I would ever stay while in Sukhothai. Ideally located steps from the UNESCO heritage site and many restaurant options, clean, breakfast available for a small price, and the host is great.

The place to stay while in Sukhothai

Space Ben’s guesthouse was a wonderful experience we didn’t plan on. We booked it last minute and are so happy we did. The hostess was very welcoming and accommodating. It’s located so close to the historical park as well as many delicious restaurants. The room was very clean and had all amenities anyone would need. The AirCon was super cold and the shower pressure was amazing! Coming from Bangkok and the poor showers I had at guesthouses there I was not expecting much. What a pleasant surprise! I almost didn’t visit Sukhothai due to the lack of information about onward travel. There are easy buses (must be booked at station in sukhothai) to other places including Chiang Mai. If staying in Sukhothai and looking for an affordable and pleasant option this is the place! Hostess is 10+ stars!! Wish I could have stayed longer!

Amazing Affordable Place to stay

A small cozy hotel, only three rooms. Stayed for 2 nights and took all the rooms! Very convenient location on a quiet street five minutes walk from the main entrance to the historic park. The room has everything you need: air conditioning, refrigerator, drinking water, hot water in the shower. Breakfast is simple: eggs, toast, oil, jam and fruits. Tea and coffee can be drunk in any quantity. The family is very friendly and caring. They speak English. Good Wi Fi.

Family hotel

Do not judge a book by its cover. The rooms aren't big with fancy decor, but the hostess was wonderful, the beds were comfortable, the fridge big and cold, the air conditioning powerful, and everything was super clean. Plus, yes, great location to the park which is why you're here.

But most importantly, during our three week trip through four countries in southeast Asia, it was the best shower we had! Great heat and water pressure control.

Going to Sukhothai and not looking to spend a fortune? Look no further than this review. Book it. Done.

Best shower in our three week tour of SEA

The rooms are spacious and very clean. The air conditioning is excellent and was the best wifi signal of the whole trip. The location is perfect in Old Sukhothai, right next to the main park. It offers bicycles and motorcycles at a super price. It offers 2 options for breakfast - eastern (fried rice if I'm not mistaken) and western, with toast, eggs, butter, fruits, tea and coffee. The guesthouse is just as the name implies, you stay in a room in the family home.

Guesthouse with excellent location

A very nice host who, despite his limited English skills, is perfectly situated, close to the historic park, quiet side street, the bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and you could rent a bicycle for 30 baht a day.

Nice little room, central location

Space Ben guest house is located 10 minutes from the bus stop and 5 m n from the national park. The owners have built an annex about a few rooms, it is clean, all the basic comfort street very peaceful breakfast included correctly in short a very good service quality ratio for about twenty euros, you can rent a bike or scooter on the spot, it is actually just paperless you pay just before, both ladies are charming smiling and ready to serve you...

When we had problems with our flight to depart from Sukhothai, we were allowed to use their tablet to make the phone call to the airline. The family spoke very little English (the teenage daughters are the ones who speak a little more) and although communication sometimes seems a little complicated, they are always willing to help you and so much more, always with a smile on your face, from the moment we arrived until our departure. The house is located in a very quiet little street, only three square meters of the water and three square meters of the National Museum of La Roca in La Roca.

 More than perfect location, wonderful owners.

Ideal location very close to Sukhothai Park (accessible on foot). More than one entrance. 100 m about the nearest entrance to the park inside the walls. 400 m about the main entrance to the park inside the walls where you can rent an electric car, tram or bicycle. If you have time I recommend renting a bike to tour the park both inside the walls and outside. Ideal to stay for an entire day. Family-run structure, breakfast included in the price of the room. Good quality view of the price of the room. Very nice location. If you need to book a taxi for subsequent transfer.

Eighth position, advised.

2 steps from the main entrance to the park. 3 bedrooms at the Loc. Basic and clean room. Very large bed. Clean bathroom (except for a few gutters at night). Climate in the room (does make a little noise but not the choice with the heat). Bicycles available for 30 baht /day / person. Warm home. Hyper serviable. We went to visit the park at 6am and when we returned at the end of the morning, she kept preparing our eggs toasted bread and fresh pastries. She even served us the day we arrived by going to buy our bus tickets to depart the next day:) briefly adorable!
