25 reviewsFantastic location for day trip by local Red bus to Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre. Friendly staff, seems like a big family run business. Free pickup from the train station - great for us because our train arrived in the dark, 1830. Dinner is available until 8pm. Cold beer at a good price. Clean. 2 complimentary bottles of water each day. A lovely local feel with many locals dropping in to their shop to buy things. Sitting in their outdoor restaurant is fun to watch Thai life go by. Please note if you are fussy on beds - the bed was hard but for 2-3 nights we'd stay again. It's worth it for us due to the location and ease of visiting Hellfire Pass independently (by local bus) with no stress of getting to / from Kanchanaburi on the train the same day.
