Not professional as it seems. Staff are friendly and nice but they don’t know what they are doing. 

They had us wait for our room for 3 hours while checking new comers in before us. Arrived at 11 am didn’t get room until 2 pm. Worst is seeing them checking other people in and keep telling you to wait

A very good location to the beach! All the local restaurants and amenities were close by. Also the room was great value and very clean. The room had the basic requirements you need with air conditioning! A great choice for anyone coming to koh samed.

Room is good with well equipped. It's located in front of Saikaew white sand sea beach. i've been there for one night, so i don't have any idea about their behavior or service.

excellent room

Saikaew Villa has a restaurant facing Sai Kaew Beach, with deck chairs lined up on the silver sand beach.  It is an ideal location, but falls short on several measures.

The worst is the service.   You literally have to get up and walk around until you find a waiter.  Then you realize why they are not looking out for you and attending to their customers.   They are too busy on their i.phones playing games and competing with each other.  They almost seem to resent having to close the game to come and give you a menu.

The only redeeming thing I can say, is that when my lunch came, it was excellent.   I had ordered a Thai fish soup in coconut milk, and a side bowl of steamed rice.

The soup was exactly what I felt like.  It had chopped galangal and lemon grass, red onion slices, chili, slices of fresh coconut meat, garlic and other spices, all with generous slices of boneless fish filets.   The soup had been cooked quickly, so the vegetable ingredients were still crisp and with their own individual flavours, but had also melded to provide a lovely balanced mild Thai soup.

I would give this establishment two stars, but have added another because I really did enjoy the soup.

Slow Service, Good Soup

Do not use the restaurant! The food has no taste and we did not get the desserts we ordered but some of the cheeper ones from the meny card but we still had to pay full price. Only good thing is the location on the beach.

Bad restaurant! 

Positive: 5 minutes from the sea of rooms, spacious rooms Negative: no wifi in the rooms, very unpleasant staff, the balcony is small, no restaurant integrated with the hotel, the rooms are dangerous because unfitted (there are 2)

Disappointing

I would like to say that the prices are more than affordable but not within our hotel charges, which is a great place to stay, but you can't expect much from those prices.

Very cheap but really fatiguing

I've come here with a lot of positive reviews. Many people write about the wonderful territory of the hotel. What do you mean by wonderful territory? What do you mean by the wonderful territory? What are the roads from the cottage to the cottage? Green - so it's the same all over the island. I don 't think the price is justified. For a simple room with a fan and one bed in the low season 1050b. The fan won 't save at night - it's still very sticky. The room is a coffee room. Most of the time the girl sits outside the world, clapping her eyes can 't figure out what they want from her? The room got a very  replacement  area and location, so to get to the beach you have to go through a very narrow, nearest corner - the u.s.p., with a lot of noise, accordingly.

You can find better.

We ate at a restaurant on the beach. It's nice to eat right on the beach, the setting is very nice. The waiters are minimal and generally not very friendly or attentive and the food is just right. Just a nice time on the beach. If food and service are more important to you than the location, feel free, or you'll see a few meters further away... A tip: don't get too close to the water, at regular intervals there are fire juggling shows, if you're near the water you'll get smoke and heat from the flames.

We only tested the restaurant.

We've been in Thailand for over 5 years now and we've learned to trust the Thais, who are usually more than honest, but this time it wasn't like that!!! When we bought the boat ticket to get to Ko Samet Island we were convinced to take the room as well. Never do such a stupid thing. Better see before you take it!!! A room trash!!! Moreover we were right behind the disco. I don't have this complex. There are many others on the island that are definitely more interesting. The only positive note is that the staff were kind... but not enough to save the mess of the room!!!!
