This is a small resort of about 12 rooms in a countryside setting located about 1 km from the beach. The grounds are vast and well manicured and the bungalows are all individual and with ensuite bathrooms. There is a clubhouse, bar and restaurant. The resort also has a swimming pool and a large well stocked lake for those who enjoy fishing (bring your own gear). The rooms are nice for the price (just 700 baht a night) and its very safe for kids as its well off the road. The pool was clean and well maintained. The bar and restaurant were adequate. Staff friendly (this is a foreigner owned resort). It was a great base to travel out to the nearby beaches and a large national park is also not far away. Guests should also go to dolphin bay which is nearby, lovely empty beach and some nice small bars and restaurants in that area. Would highly recommend this place for couples and families.
