538 reviewsSome way from town area but this beach area is clearly popular with locals, backpackers and tourists by the numbers of scooters and bikes lined up on the routes in. At one side of this popular and decent beach lies the rock salt restaurant and bar which is part of the Nai Harn hotel. The hotel itself is just a little way up a steep hill which then allows entry into a wonderful and bright reception area with attentive service. The rooms are pread over 8 floors and a lift allows access to 6 floors, with steps upto the 7th and 8th floors. Rooms have a good view over the beach and bay area, and are very spacious with bath and shower. Tea/coffee facilities are avaialble as is a TV with several english channels. The pool are is quite small but its very nice with some sunbeds. Another area can be found for sunbathing by going up some steps and i recall that it may also serve sushi/japenese cuisine. The main restaurant is very nice with a wide selection of breakfast items whilst tea or coffee is served by one of the many ladies in attendance. A happy hour allows sampling of some excellent cocktails at a great price, down at the rock salt.
