The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam

Recently stayed 5 nights at Berkley from July 23-28. We were a family group of 13. Prior to our arrival, we requested our rooms be located near to each other and this was honoured. There was also a last-minute request for a bouquet arrangement to be in one of the rooms prior to arrival, and this was also arranged for us. Special thanks to the assistant manager Cindy who checked in with us to ensure our stay was pleasant. We stayed in the North tower which required a change of elevators on the 11th floor. However, this was not an issue or inconvenient. Breakfast each morning was always fresh and had a good variety. The vegetable curry was particularly nice. The family room was extremely spacious and if travelling in a party of three this should be your preferred room. The highlight of this hotel is definitely the location. The night market outside has great deals. There is KFC and McDonald's nearby. 7-Eleven is also located next to the hotel. Platinum fashion mall is about a 5-minute walk. Central World Mall & Big C can also be reached within 5 minutes. If you're a lover of the cheesecake factory restaurant, one is located in Central World Mall. This was my fourth time visiting Bangkok, previously staying at the Marriott, Rembrandt Hotel and The Continent Hotel. On my next visit I will definitely return to Berkeley. The location is less chaotic than in Sukhumvit. It is a solid choice with a great location, attentive staff and provides value for money. If you're on the fence, do not hesitate to book.
