The Nest Serviced Apartment

What you pay is what you get! But for The Nest, I feel you get a little more. It's spacious and clean enough even for the standard room. Guests have to give 1000 Bhats as security deposit and need to have card to get inside building to the lift. We came from airport with taxi on meter and paid around 250 Bhats in a minivan till the hotel from the airport which is considerably very cheap. We were a group of 4 and me and my wife took one room. I think all rooms come with a small or maybe even a bigger balcony. All rooms are air conditioned and my floor was the 18th which is high enough for any view. Wifi is present and smooth emough. House keeping comes every day and you get two bottles of water. There is TV but I never used it. No bath tub in my standard room but, the shower and the bathroom are clean and fine. There is a fridge, hair dryer and water boiler with coffee. Rooms are tidy except for small crocoaches which is the only minus point in the nest. It can even be found inside the fridge. Stayed for 3 nights. The lobby or reception is in another nearby building which should not be an issue for the guests after they have checked in or are checking out. There is a pool on the top but we didn't use it because of time constraints. You have to pay 50 Bhats to use it. The location of the apartment is somewhat a little deep inside, about a stone's throw from the First House hotel from the main road. We used to come walking late where most of the shops or stores were closed in that area but never experienced any incident so it's practically safe so far in my opinion. For shoppers, the Nest, is an ideal location. Wholesale and retail markets nearby are easily accessible. You don't get breakfast or any food to order from the Nest but that's not a big problem. You can buy food from 7-11 marts which open all day and night. There are also lots of food stalls and restaurants open during the day. For the night, you should go to the mart or Mac Donald's and other restaurants open even late at night by the main road. They can arrange taxis but the tarrifs looked much pricier. Didn't use their service not because of the price but for other reasons and convenience, I used one online taxi service to Pattaya and back and the taxi driver managed to locate our place easily. Overall experience with the Nest was great. Good budget place, clean and location is perfect in Pratunam area. I won't mind staying there again if I want a budget stay in Pratunam, Bangkok.
