109 reviews10 minute stroll (400 metres) from BTS Skytrain Phloen Chit station .... well-paved walkway for dragging a suitcase on wheels. Very convenient for British and Swiss embassies. Not many restaurants nearby, but hotel has one (which closes early). For eats, best to get a taxi, or get on the BTS. Reception efficient and friendly, with staff who speak English well. We got a "maxi" (Deluxe) room on 4th floor, at the back of the hotel. Wireless Road has a lot of traffic, and this was super-quiet. Room size was good for a city-centre hotel, but we deliberately booked a "deluxe" room (28 sq m, according to Booking.com), fearing that others might be cramped. Bed was firm, but comfortable (and I cannot sleep on standard Thai hotel beds). The room was clean and comfortable, but wooden surfaces (like door frames)might need re-painting sometime in the next year. Breakfast was adequate, by Western standards in Thailand (toast, eggs. cereal, fruit, drinks), and I wouldn't expect more in a mid-range, Thai city-centre "boutique" hotel. I had originally booked this hotel because I wanted a convenient location for an embassy morning appointment, but I subsequently discovered the added bonus that the hotel is convenient to Phloen Chit BTS station, which makes a great base for exploring other parts of Bangkok city centre. When i'm next planning to visit Bangkok city-centre, I will most certainly try to book Moonite, and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
