We stayed 5 nights in the “Chalet” and we loved the time we spent in Thai House Isaan. Nice bedding, lovely atmosphere, quiet, even if we were in the middle of the village. The breakfast was nicely cooked by David, and Noi took care of dinner (at a very fair price). David just told us what Noi had in mind for dinner, and that was it! So good when you’ve been traveling for a while to sit at the table and see tasty food put in front of you without bothering to choose on a menu. Special awards for the stir-fries, curry and the whole fish, Isaan style. David walked us around the village and the nearby paddy fields. We also spent a whole day with him (and Pumpkin!!) on a tour to visit temple, homestay village, falls, market etc. We learned a lot about the Isaan culture while talking with David. Special mention for Pumpkin (you have to get there to know who she is!). But please, David, put a bigger sign in front of your house for travelers!
