The Key Hotel

Stayed here for valentine’s in a standard double bedroom. Bed was extremely comfy and the room and bathroom was very clean! All staff at the hotel are friendly and are always willing to help! Towels are provided and you are also given a WiFi box to ensure good connection in rooms!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed 6 nights. Room was extremely clean, excellent air con, very comfortable bed. Warm Thai staff. The complimentary bottle of water each morning was really appreciated and a nice touch especially with the hot weather. Location is excellent - 1 min to Pattaya, or a short walk to Sunrise Beach which we preferred and spent each day. Shower has no door or curtain, so the bathroom with toilet does become wet, but we managed fine and it didn't bother us too much. Hotel felt very safe, it only has a few rooms and is located behind a clinic which is ideal because it makes the rooms more discreet and private, away from the public on Walking Street). FYI because its a little hidden it is tricky to find the first time (once you get off the boat, walk left along the beach, then right on Walking Street). Since it is on Walking Street music can be heard from the street below but it was only until about midnight and it didn't bother us at all. Would definitely stay again especially for the location, quality and price! Thank you for the lovely hospitality! 5/5 stars

check in was smooth however if you not pay online, please ready cash money with you. they do not have a credit card machine in the clinic. 

read before on Beware of NO RUNNING WATER. happen to me on 2nd day stayed and i'm doing business no 2.. :p.  asked my partner to run downstairs for running the water. it takes less than 5 minutes. 

room was nice and bigger, aircond great, toilet a bit dirty. other than this, I had no further comment. 
you can take snorkeling package in the hotel. they can arrange for you.

Key is a very good hotel but i have some comments. Some but not all receptionists need to be more hospitable especially in matter related to a smile. We as guests feel that there is a type of unwelcoming due to our nationality but this should not be reflected in their faces. The direction of Qibla is to be drawn on the ceiling as most hotels do. The sheets of beds are to be changed on a daily basis not after two or three days. I would like to thank Ms Nathalie, Jean Claude, Ms Rania, Mr Saleem and Mr Rimon for their great efforts and cooperation 

In general, i was happy in the hotel and I recommend it for everyone as one of the best hotel apartments in Beirut

Key is a very good hotel

Good price as well as location! 

This hotel seems great on paper. It’s right on Koh Lipe Walkthrough, inside the Siam International Clinic. It’s confusing because you can’t tell you’re in a hotel or the clinic at first. However, you are just a short walk from Pattaya Beach and surrounded by an abundance of food stalls, restaurants, and shops.
Regardless of all the pros, it simply cannot merit a rating past one star rating because of the fact that we stayed here for two nights and there was absolutely no running water! We tried multiple times of the day to check our taps to only have seen water run twice in two days!
When we brought this up to management, they simply explain that they turned the water off due to the island needing to receive water from the main land. We thought it was singular occurrence, but by the third or fourth time, their apathy of no running water hit a nerve! Management provided no help in the situation and the bulk of us were forced to hose down the alley way or fill water bottles for a pour down shower! Awful and absolutely ruined our vacation.
On top of that, the hotel is much smaller than the picture looks. The rooms are clean, but the views are just the tops of other roofs. There is a bar two doors away that plays music until 1-2 AM. It can be heard right through our closed doors.
The staff was only saved by the front reception woman, who also ran the clinic. She was friendly and tried her best to be helpful and apologetic, but never found a solution to our problems. She offered a snorkeling tour, but didn’t quite explain what we were in for. She also gave us iced towelettes and elephant key chains that just simply at the end couldn’t make up for the atrocities of having zero running water for 95% of the trip.
