Beautiful grounds, extremely tranquil, quiet and refreshing--beautiful lotus pond, rose gardens, large park, clean rooms and shower facilities. English was not a problem for us as the owner was also on site for Songkran, but other staff did not appear comfortable at all in English. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting. Recall this resort is in quite a rustic setting, very close to nature--we had no issues inside of the rooms but outside all around you will find bees, ants, everything. It is nestled interior to a mountain range with jungles all around. Excellent place to stay if you intend to explore the surrounding national parks, which are beautiful and quite challenging. The restaurant did not have a menu, items were listed orally, buffet at breakfast included coffee/tea, bread and jam, tasty rice soup, fresh fruit, and the staff offered a la carte items (also orally, no menu). We were satisfied but an English language menu would have been perfect. For the right price, this resort is well worth the drive.
