24 reviewsLovely, lovely place! Tuppenny and Robert have a little corner of paradise here, and I wish we could have stayed longer. Everything about this low-key, relaxed homestay was wonderful. From waking to look straight out over the rice-fields, to chats with the gorgeous hosts, to eating the most delicious fresh-cooked food, we loved it. There are three villas set in beautiful gardens, about a kilometre from the town of Mae Rim. The walk takes about 20 minutes from BTBL to the main street, or you can use one of the freely supplied bicycles. Looking at the busy road through Mae Rim it's hard to imagine what lies behind the township - but once you get into the network of sois, the green and quiet rice-fields reveal themselves. You can have pre-dinner drinks at the edge of the pond or in the outdoor dining area (or anywhere around the property really), watch a stunning sunset or sunrise, and generally just relax. The sounds of frogs and birds are very soothing. Tuppenny and Robert - don't change anything. And please give all the gorgeous cats a big hug from me.
