We have stayed two people seven nights at the Leelawadee Lipe Resort. 

Friendly, smiling and welcoming staff. 
The hotel is right on the main street, and due to noise we have stayed in three different rooms at this hotel; first the one closest to the street where there was a lot of music noise from the bar across the street. Then a room completely away from the main street, where you can still hear the music, but it's next to a backyard with roosters crowing loudly early in the morning right outside the door. In the end we got a room in the middle, it was much better in terms of noise. The music from the bar was not that loud and they turn off the music at midnight. 

The rooms are large and generally clean, but appear worn and old. Could use a major cleaning and a little love from a craftsman, fx the sink fitting works, but is completely loose, several loose tiles etc. It smells moldy in the room and of sewage in the bathroom. If there were to be good ventilation, then windows with mosquito nets should be made. Bed linen and towels are clean. Two bottles of water and toilet paper each day are included. The internet is a bit unstable. There is a 3% fee on the stay if you pay for the stay by credit card. You can rent beach towels at the reception for an extra charge. AC is working well, but we missed a fan to use at night. We don't think it's a "resort", but more of a hotel, and we don't think the price matches the hotel's standard.
The location is completely central and a short distance to the ferry.

Lovely staff but interrupted sleep

Food took forever to come out , to the point we nearly left. Pork was pretty good but the Pad Thai abysmal (mostly cheap thun noodles and bo taste) . Deserts were ok but expensive. .. We wouldn't bother visiting again. 

Food very average and we waited for ages

Good place to stay. Excellent location in the middle of Walking Street. Nice and spacious room. Lovely staffs willing to help. 
Hard bed and pillow. No English channels on TV. No kettle in the room. You must leave the key for room service. The bathroom drain was not draining the water.

Great location

Everything is very good apart from the water in the bathroom. It was yellow and smelly (smell of iron). The size of the room is good, with a balcony.

Good but not perfect...

The staff was very nice, locations was also fine (middle of walking street). Little bit noisy, but nothing to major. However the price was very high, the bathroom had mold in it, a generally bad smell, and the water also had a bad smell. When requested a clean up, the sheets weren’t changed. Try to avoid.

Nice staff, horrible hotel

Third time in koh Lipe 3 times at leelawadee. Never for ever again, I left even if I lost my money, do not raccomended, the room bad smell and the staff is useless, they wan not able to find the key of my room

The cleaning is really bad. We got sheets on the bed that was torn and misscolured.the lock on the door to the balkony was broken.The sink in the shower didnt flusch properly.The water in the bathroom goes from light yellow to brown, it misscoluret hair and nails. We were stupid to leave the laundrary to the hotell, lots of clothes got misscolured by the water.The rooms could have been nice if it wasent for the bad cleaning and the water problem, the balkony was super nice. The location in the middle of walking street is great, close to everything.

In the middle of walking street. No restaurant or breakfast, but free coffee in the morning.

Friendly staff, send us to see sunset and sunrise before leaving for free! Will come back!

Overall, its satisfying

This hotel is normal and just quite terrible to me. 1st, the hotel staff cant understand English, remember to print out your itinerary/ hotel voucher to show them. Its quite difficult to communicate with them.2nd, the air-con is not functioning well at all, the air come out is hot even the temperature was set to 16 degree. 3rd, the hotel staff is difficult to find them to request something exp. towel, hair dryer and etc. They just not always stay at the reception table.4th, the hotel dont have a hair dryer, please bring your own.5th, DO NOT open the sliding door!! Else you gonna 'attack' by mosquitoes.6th, the water pressure is LOW.
