When we arrived at 19.45 after 34 hours on the road, there was no one there to meet us. We had to call them and they arrived 40 minutes later. We had trouble finding the place as the taxi driver refused to drive from the main road to the House itself. We had to walk in complete darkness and aske at two other private houses before we found the correct one.
The room on Booking.com for 350 Bt is accessible from the communal terrace. The wood inside the room was destroyed by beetles. There are separate bungalows for 450 Bt. The smell of mould is everywhere and mould was even in the refrigerator, all is very dirty. Our bungalow had no toilet paper. The owner refused to give us towels, saying they are never provided. The sink drain goes into a bucket. The mattress has hard metal springs.
The worst is that the owner, Tukta, is a very weird lady who speaks English very bad and tells different things every time (especially with prices). She does not use Booking.com and did not care if we had booked the room there or not, did not check anything when we arrived. Tukta is a former government official and says everyone knows her on the island.
We left the place after the first night, but rented a motorbike from Tukta. It was a bad decision as on the last day Turka brought two young guys and they claimed we incurred some damage to the bike and wanted 800 and then 200 Bt. We refused to pay as we did not have any accidents.
Wifi was ok though. And the waterfall with the natural pool is nice.

I wish we never came to this place!

We have booked a bungalow in this place in advance as a place to come after a looong flight and take a rest. And our experience was just horrible:

1. The taxi driver refused to turn from the main road to the premises so we had to take all our luggage uphill in pitch black.
2. When we got to the place we realized that no one is waiting for us and 0 staff onsite so we had to call phone number provided with the booking but no one answered. Happily we met some people staying there and they gave us the relevant number. After the call we had to wait approximately 40 minutes till host came.
3. As soon as the host came she told us that all bungalows are booked and we can stay in a room with a shared terrace that we didn't like, besides it was smelling of mold and was dirty. So I had to say that we are not staying and as soon as I started to leave the host "found" an available bungalow which was in the same state as the room. Anyway we stayed for a night because we were so exhausted and it was 21:00 already. We have left next morning.
4. People staying next to our bungalow said that the host was renting scooters and we chose a practically new Honda Click with only 3000 km on odometer. Scooter was great by the way. When the last day came and we had to give it back the host came with two guys who claimed that 1 part of the scooter was scratched (which is not true - I'm a very diligent driver) and we have to pay additional 800 baht. 

P.S. waterfall itself with the natural pool is great

Awful

This hostel was truly up and down. We stayed here for 4 nights during the full moon party period. The location is slightly far away but really close to a beautiful beach and a lovely little seaside village in a sense. The rooms are also right next to a rather incredible waterfall and also a crystal clear natural swimming pool. 

On the other hand it was pretty dirty and filled with bugs so not a place for families. But for us (backpackers) it was a really good stay. The staff were also friendly.
