Baan Kai Hostel

My experience at Baan Kai Hostel was absolutely phenomenal, and much of that is thanks to its kind, dedicated, and exceptional staff. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and care shown by Nuum and the team made my stay unforgettable. When I missed my transit, Nuum went above and beyond to ease my worries, helping me craft new travel plans while seamlessly offering options to extend my stay. The hostel itself is impeccably maintained—clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. As a solo female traveler, I deeply appreciated the respectful, safe, and welcoming environment, which also fostered a sense of fun and camaraderie. Every detail exceeded expectations. It is just a short walk away from Thai beaches that were so beautiful that they made me cry. It is also conveniently located near the piers, ATMs, restaurants, etc, too. New Year’s Eve was truly special: the hostel organized transportation, a delightful Thai dinner, and even glow-in-the-dark paints for a memorable celebration. Throughout my stay, we were treated to fresh fruits and invaluable local recommendations that created meaningful and enriching experiences. The on-site coffee shop deserves a special mention—it serves some of the best coffee I’ve ever had, a perfect complement to the overall stellar experience. What stands out most is the above-and-beyond service. Nuum’s help in ensuring I caught my speedboat and planning the next leg of my journey was above and beyond what I could have expected from a hostel. I left feeling grateful and inspired by the genuine care I received. My new friends shared similar remarks with me about the service they received, too. Baan Kai Hostel is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience I’ll always treasure. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Thank you, Nuum, and the incredible team.
