Just returned from a wonderfully relaxing long weekend at Coco Garden Resort. The location is simply stunning, right on the beach. It was very easy to get a songthaew from the pier & the ride took 10 mins & cost 150baht each. Coco Gardens is a cluster of traditional bungalows, a restaurant & a beach bar. Our bungalow (#6) opened directly onto the beach. We had a big bed, air con, a fridge, a hammock & an en-suite shower room. Check in was easy. Everyone who works there is very friendly. It really is service with a smile. The beach bar is fabulous, just how you’d imagine a beach bar on a tropical island. Lek runs the bar - he’s a real character. Breakfast is simple home cooked fare & is very tasty. You can even have a massage on the beach. There is a complimentary pool table & a couple of complimentary kayaks. You can walk for miles along the beach. A 2 minute walk away to the main road, you’ll find a 7Eleven & a whole host of bars & restaurants. There is so much to see. We had a lovely relaxing couple of days here, doing absolutely nothing & it was wonderful. This is how I imagine Samui was 20 yrs ago. Very well priced rooms - some have air con, some have fans. Cannot recommend Coco Gardens enough. Thank you for a lovely stay, I Can’t wait to return. 10/10
