Moon Beach Resort

The main individual who runs this place, Joy, is every bit as her name indicates. Joy and her family greet you with smiling hospitality, and take pride in going above and beyond in ensuring your comfort and contentment. Wonderfully for an individual such as myself, you are fairly self-contained in your stay on their property if you so choose to not venture into the noise and heat of town; there's a private beach, large water for sale, the restaurant food is delicious and reasonably priced (unlike their neighbour Loyfa where the service is crap, and the food is entirely overpriced) and Joy will even drive you right from the resort to your destination often for cheaper than going into town to get a taxi. I spent many a day sat on my computer in their restaurant area, turning it into my "office" to complete contract work while there. Joy and her family incorporated me into their dynamic, often offering me portions of their dessert in exchange for my impromptu desire to "greet guests" while she stepped out for supplies or to pick up people's laundry orders. I felt entirely at home here, so much so I stayed for a month, and I highly recommend this place.
