Sky Beach Resort Koh Mak

( If you are insecure about they amount of days you should stay in Koh Mak I can tell you right now that there is not much to see except the fantastic view with a amazing sunset. Maybe some rubber plant extraction field. It’s really calm on this island. We did also not see much of sand flies which is a huge rumor about this island! I saw and got bit by 1 fly. Stay 2 max 3 days if you are not here for the long relaxing-and-absolutely-nothing-to-do-vacay. ) I looked at this hotel before we arrived to Koh Mak but I was a bit hesitant because of the price that some(!) websites displayed. Better to go to the hotel you’re looking at and check it out before you book! Sadly we went with another hotel which was not even what the images displayed, ended up checking out one day earlier and checked in at Sky beach. 🥳 They have kayaks and some snorkeling gear, super good price! The images are exactly what they display on the sites and it’s so clean. They keep the hotel area super clean, including the garden, the parking and the restaurant really clean, and even sand flie free! ( see image of the white marbles, I think )😅 One thing made me feel safe is that they’ve set out a big square of fishing net where you can swim in the water, on their own beach area for the guests safety and that is to keep the jellyfishes out! Awesome food and awesome vibe! If you are not staying here then come over just relax and enjoy the view! Ps. the owner has a mean humorous jargon so don’t be sensitive about it he is really caring and humble!! ♥️ Thanks for the stay!
