Hello. I recently stayed at the The Aurora KKU, up on the university campus of Khon Kaen University and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are huge with a king size bed, with a soft mattress that is not usually seen in Thailand and big plasma tv which has a USB connection to play music or movies, etc. It's a great place in a good location, but you must realize that it is about 5km from the city centre, thou you can take songtaw's (local taxi) no. 8 to the uni and walk the short distance to the hotel if you don't fancy taking taxi's all the time. The area around it is great for food and nightlife and if you like it, you can rent rooms by the month also.
