I found the course at Inthanon to be very enjoyable. The course is of Sandy soil so regardless of all the rain in the last month or so it was remarkably dry. The layout is excellent and one of the best in Chiang Mai. From the back tees it's 7,200 yards, well positioned bunkers on every hole and with its fair share of water hazards, condition all round was good and greens excellent for October. It's not the most difficult course in Chiang Mai but it is one of the most enjoyable to play. Well worth the visit and great value at 1200 baht including green fee, caddie and cart. The price will rise though come November for the high season. The clubhouse also serves some very good Thai food. Give inthanon a try, it's around 50 mins from downtown Chiang Mai. Well with a visit.
