At Lanna House - Adults Only

I had a great two week stay @ Lanna House during the city's Songkran Festival in 2016. I stayed at a few other hostels in the city during my month-long trip and this was by far the cleanest and quietest. Most of the other budget hostels try to sell you on their "Air Conditioned" pitch but majority have a no-run policy during the hottest hours of the day as they think everyone is out of the room at that time and it is a waste of money/energy. They let you run the AC anytime you are in the room at this place. The location is not in the center of all the action but it's very easy to catch a ride or even just walk and take in the sites as you cut across the city. There are quite a few good places to eat around which is a plus. This hostel is very well maintained by the owners. Pun is such a sweet lady and really wants you to enjoy your visit and is very eager to help you in any way she can. She really went out of her way for me and picked me up from a hostel on her way back from an errand on an extremely hot day and after my stay drove me to the airport. I am very grateful for her kindness. Over-all I would definitely stay again... good shower, very clean and the Pun keeps extra amenities in there to use up which is very thoughtful. The bunks are comfortable and have a great privacy curtain, great AC in the rooms, daily cleaning, friendly hosts.. what more could you ask for! Stay Stay Stay!
