6 reviewsThis hotel receives mainly Bangkok guests during the weekend. it is 200 km south of Bangkok, and on the right hand side of Chaolai road, about 200 metres up after you turn left off Narathip road. There are two First and Field Bom-Dia hotels , but I go to the one with the swimming pool surrounding, not the place with the raised individual units This place will cost you 700 baht a night during the week, and off season you will have good privacy. I do not know prices in season. I have a Thai wife , but this hotel will not speak English well. It is also true to say they do not position themselves toward westerners, but 700 baht and swimming pool. And in the weekend it can be somewhat noisy. Asian people think you want to listen to their music at any hour. I just go out and pull their their plugs out. Now I have seen comments to say that Cha -am is not a good destination. This place has the best beaches outside parts of phuket. There are lost of Western style restaurants along Chao lai road to the south. It is inexpensive Now Cha-am in the lonely planet and other outdated material is designated as a fishing village, coming of age. Thus is boom town for the next decade. Hua Hin is already ruined and the beach is crap. Many Thai hotels are improperly marked by agoda and other agents.
