Adventure Resort Thailand

Martin the owner and his assistant Phil were probably the best hosts we have ever come across. We are in our 60’s and have travelled quite a lot. Nothing was too much trouble and anything you asked for was done ultra quick. Any requests were never, ever forgotten. A tour around and introduction to the animals was both educational and entertaining. Martin is a very happy, witty man and in no time at all we felt as though we had known him for a long time. Loved the pool and restaurant area. The open kitchen was spotlessly clean and Phil produced delicious meals served always with a smile. Loved the free laundry service if you stay more than 6 days. Very handy. We had the two bedroom bungalow, number 4, with the entry being via an open kitchen, sitting area. The shared toilet was at the back. On the left was one double room with en suite shower and the other double room was on the right. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated and comfortable with a large double bed. The bathroom was separated by a beaded curtain and had a large walk in shower. Wonderful. The sounds of the different animals and birds at night was awesome. The little geckos on the ceiling of our sitting area were delightful and so interesting to watch. The Adventure Resort is a hidden gem of a place. It is a tranquil place to unwind and escape the daily pressures of working life. We hired a car for the two weeks we were there as we wanted to explore a bit. A taxi would be needed to visit the 8.2 km Huay Yai Road which has a variety of restaurants on it. We particularly liked the Green Glass restaurant. We would be absolutely delighted to return to this amazing place.
