What a great value for money! If you don't mind basic accommodation (cold shower, but beds are great though and spacious rooms) and you love to stay with a nice Thai family away from the crowded resorts then this is the place to be. Your bungalow is situated in a lush green garden, the owners serve great food and take really good care of you. Between 8.00 and 22.00 there is a free tuktuk service to Nopparat thara Beach on demand. If you are traveling from Ao Nang, just take the tuktuk to Hippies Bar in Nopparat. The owner of the bar will call BB, the owner of Payang, to come pick you up within 10 minutes. Also wait with booking boat tours and other activities until you are at Payang Bungalow. BB will make the booking for you and negotiates the best prices, far more cheap compared to the companies around Ao Nang and you get a transfer pick up from the bungalow and back. They also offer laundry services and a free pool table to use whenever you want to. WiFi was the best we had so far in our accommodation, even in our own bungalow which was most far into the garden. We had a lot of rain so everything was quite damp and humid, but we still had a great time. So happy we stayed here 4 nights, very suitable for people who enjoy interacting with Thai family and are looking for a quiet place to sleep in a nature setting.
