1289 reviewsWe stayed at the Serena lodge for two nights in October. The first impressions are very good, the cabins are dome shaped with thatched roofs set in beautifully landscaped gardens, but the real wow is the view from the balcony! The Serengeti stretches out as far as you can see, with some beautiful rolling hills and pasture containing herds of wilder-beast, buffalo and zebra. The hotel itself has a 1970’s feel, with a bit of a “DIsney does Africa” style. But the location and staff make it a wonderful place to stay. Each mealtime the staff make time to chat and make you feel very welcome. The food is buffet style with a wide choice of dishes, salads and deserts.

At the cottage
