Rongai Eleven Serengeti Camp

We stayed for 2 nights the whole team were wonderful.such great service we were well looked after. The tents are super comfy and cosy very clean with all you need. The food was superb a great selection for the breakfast and dinner buffet and lovely packed lunch which was varied each day. Lovely bar area and campfire in the evening. We were visited by elephants and saw cheetah literally on the doorstep. We would def recommend

The location was fantastic. The tents were cozy and comfortable. The warm shower and the running water should never be taken for granted in a camp site like this. The community tent and the meals were just fabulous. I would come back any time.

Stayed at Mawe two nights as part of a safari arranged by a safari company.  They made that choice as we wanted to see the migration, and it was supposed to be there at that time of the year.  Alas, this was a weird year in terms of rain, so the herds were about 20 km away (bummer, but that happens, and it is hard to predict such a couple months out).  That said, it was still very picturesquely situated.  While the main herds were not there, the animals in general were not far off, and the game drives from Mawe were very successful (leopards, one above the rig, cheetahs hunting, lions eating and hunting, elephants, hippos, giraffes, etc.)  The tents themselves were large and had a table.They were situated relatively far apart.  Beds comfortable.  The food was very good: breakfast was chipati (a crepe), eggs (scrambled or omelet: your choice), cereal, fruit, etc..  The sack lunches they made were a wrap (tasty), fruit, cake or cookie, vegetable, +.  Dinners were a meat, starch, cooked vegetable medley, and fruit or cake for desert.  The staff was attentive and flexible.  Three suggestions.  Like other camps I looked at, they do not have tents set up for two parents and two kids.  The desert options could be expanded.  A bit more water pressure.  

We spent two nights at Mawe while in the Serengeti.
Mawe was my favourite stay on my trip, it was what I expected of a tented African Safari camp. 
We were all amazed at the quality of the food that was produced and the manager and staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had lions roaring in the night, elephants walking past our tents and buffalo's feeding around the tents during the night. 
It was a truly amazing African experience

Very friendly staff. Great food.
We heard hyenas, lions, elephants at night, buffalos and giraffe are right by the tent.
The tents, were very comfy and clean.
The sunrise are stunning.
It is a great location as it is not far from the big cat areas. 

It was a very good and unexpected experience. We have been surprised by the quality of the services inside a camp in Serengeti Park. Indeed it is possible to see some animals near the camp and to have a confortable room.  We seriously recommand this camp.

Mawe Lodges has been an excellent option for this trip.  The quality-price rate is very good.  It is not the cheapest, but the quality of the guides, the organization, the Lodges and the management are clearly a excellent option.

Lisa, my contact with Mawe Lodges has always been available and has adapted the trip to different changes.  The guides are very attentive and professional, especially Rigo, the guide in the Safaris has been a marvel of knowledge and treatment, he also speaks Spanish which has made communication much easier for us.  

On Serengeti safaris we have seen the Big 5 and fantastic experiences with Cheetahs, Mara River Crossing with crocodile attack included, many Lions ( one to three meters from the Lodges)  etc.  all wonderful.

In summary, Mawe Lodges has been an excellent option with good Tended Lodges, food,  besa with very close and professional care and attention.  Many thanks to Lisa and everyone who has helped us spend some wonderful days.

We stayed for two days and it was amazing. The staff is super friendly and they take good care of the guests. Sunrise and sunsets are beautiful. Food is delicious and the tents look and feel like hotel rooms. Completely recommended if you are coming to Serengeti.

This accomodation in the middle of the Serengeti national park is truly amazing. The personal is super friendly, keen on our safety and well-being of the kids. Beautiful surroundings (off course): waking up with the buffalos or elephants and the great sunrise over the Serengeti. And best of all: the food is really good. We stayed in a Family tent, which had 2 bathrooms and 3 rooms. Good beds.

Mawe tented lodge in Serengeti - amazing

We stayed at Mawe as a part of our safari trip and had an excellent stay. Very special to have our own luxury tent. The staff took very good care of us, and we had some extra excitement being followed back to our tent in the evening and passing a hyena lurking in the bushes. Very good food with a local touch. We highly recommend this lodge!

Excellent stay at Mawe

This is my second time staying at Mawe. Both times the service and attention from the staff were incredible. They accommodated our dietary needs (there were 13 of us and some needed gluten free, dairy free, soy free and also 2 were vegetarians) and made sure we were safe.

Warm welcoming smiles and amazing hospitality

Our family of 5 recently stayed at the Zawadi Tented Camp in the Serengeti 6/28 /22  for 3 nights.  The accommodations were clean, spacious, and comfortable.  The staff was always attentive and helpful.  Waking up to see the  annual migration of the Wildebeests was an additional highlight!  We would highly recommend this camp!

We stayed here for one night during our safari and it was an amazing experience!! We were the only ones there and stayed in a tent for 6 persons (family), which was absolutely beautiful from the inside, very clean and comfortable. The staff was very lovely and helpful as well:)) The dinner was one of the best meals that we had on our entire trip! Would definitely recommend booking here.

Unforgettable experience in an amazing lodge!

This is an once in your lifetime experience. We loved staying in the camp for two nights. This is al about the location. Safari tents are nice and staff is friendly. One thing  only ..... During arrival there is so much time spend about explaining and talking about the tipping box that it felt as too much and not very welcoming .
