We had a very good stay, the hotel is very pleasant, the staff is very professional and especially John who was very caring, who is very smiling and attentive to the needs of customers. We recommend this hotel.

From the moment you step into this place, it’s magical. The warm welcome of both the amazing staff and the scenery you’re presented with is something to behold. The beachfront location is calm serenity. 2 infinity pools over-looking the beach were just perfect to laze in too, and we were served cocktails there which made it even sweeter! 
We were fortunate enough to stay in the presidential villa, which was just incredible with the size, position and amenities having our own private pool and loungers, with a huge living room area.
The food at Nungwi dreams was the best we had on our trip. Congratulations to Lars the chef (who was often around greeting guests himself) and his team. And echoing the other reviews, the staff at the hotel were impeccable and made the stay that much better. Thank you!
All in all, a faultless stay and I can’t wait to return!

Haven’t even left yet but this hotel is amazing. Staff super friendly and make you feel at home. Rooms are modern, have a mini fridge, AC, towels and toiletries every day. The two pools are absolutely beautiful with sea views. One night had a Swahili buffet with special Swahili dancers and a show! Was fantastic atmosphere. Overall so lovely and pristine. Perfect relaxation. 

Our stay at the hotel was excellent from pick point , reception well received to mention Mustafa , room very good except for first night ac was not working but called Mustafa it was repaired next day house keeping we had to call for them to change beddings but rest of stay it was improved.
Restaurant was very good food was super delicious and plenty  chef Aggrey menu planing was very thoughtful you could not miss what to eat congratulations keep it up.
F&B staff was very welcoming and also friendly  just to mention a few Simba, Edward and a lady who I don't remember her name.
The beach bar was good we could get what we wanted for drink and we also enjoyed swimming in the pool the guy for the pool exercise really understand his work.
Security congratulations  to all the masai stationed to all corners and very disciplined every time they could greet you and ready for assistance.
For hotel management if it can include in their program activities site tours for the guest who are willing will be very much appreciated.
My wife and I will not escape gotten a chance to come back and will also recommend to our friends to visit Rz.
General we appreciate all staff who made our stay very memorable being our first time and not last.


We had a few very nice days at this Hotel and really enjoyed it. 
It's perfect for couples on Honeymoon or simply to relax, because the location is very quiet. The Beach is the best beach you can find on Sansibar with beautiful white sand right in front of it. A paradise!
The staff is very kind and professional. After a few days we got to know nearly everyone which makes the stay more personal. We would definitely recommend this place but also suggest to do some activities.

We stayed 7 nights here and overall the place and ammenities were very good.
The staff is the star of the hotel, they all are really friendly, helpful and professional. However I have to stand out two amazing ones:
- John (still a trainee but with a brilliant future ahead) who was always paying attention to all costumers needs, always available to make this experience more comfortable and that we hope to meet again when we came back.
- Regina who take a great care of us during meals, always with a friendly smile and good vibes.
A couple improvements are still needed although some are not in the hotel responsability. The road to get the hotel is not paved, so the last 10 minutes to get there are always painfull. The beach lacks sand, is still too rocky to be an asset to the hotel.

A real dream place - true to its name. We celebrated our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. And the staff went all the way out to give us a Romantic Dinner by the beach. Enjoyed every moment. 
We stayed in the room with an ocean view. Awesome. Pretty spacious room with a balcony to enjoy the ocean. Their terrace dinner area is most beautiful.

The hotel is very calm. It’s great to rest after a safari. Unfortunately the beach in front are not as good as we expect. Still there are two wonderful infinity pools. The staff are really kind. We also have the opportunity to taste Swahili food, during an evening event.
The breakfast is good 😊

We stayed here for 5 nights to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, I can only say really good things about this haven of peace and tranquillity. Service was friendly and super efficient (yes there are trainee waiting staff but they are supervised by experienced staff) the food was fantastic, every single meal was delicious and of a very high standard. Private dinner on the beach was amazing, definitely do it if your there for a celebration or like romantic intimate dinner. 
We had a frontline sea view ground floor room and it was so nice, none of the pics on the booking sites portray it as it is, it’s way nicer. It was immaculate. We did have an issue with a cricket in our room, making a ton of noise ( the hotel can’t be held responsible for nature haha) they came to our room at midnight and sorted it for us. 
I was expecting serious Wi-Fi issues after reading reviews and something must have changed because we were picking it 200 metres up the beach, excellent Wi-Fi. 
Ohh bring ur sea shoes, the sea urchins are nasty.
We have stayed at a resort 5 times the price of this one in Zanzibar before and the only obvious difference was the all inclusive drinks, white wine was good, red was awful and bottles available to buy weren’t exactly top drawer. Beer and some spirits were good and cocktails delicious. We brought our own red wine which we enjoyed on our terrace. That would be my only negative but fore warned is fore armed.
Finally pls turn right on the beach, deserted beautiful beach that u can walk for hours.

We personally recommend everyone that they should try Nungwi Dreams.  It's paradise.  The food Is also very delicious and the hospitality they give is amazing. We had a blast and made beautiful memories.

A week to enjoy!

Dream, true to its name

Amazing

After a 9 day Safari, we needed some R&R.  Zanzibar was calling our name and we answered.  Easy Travel, TZ had just the place.  We flew from mainland Tanzania to Zanzibar and stayed on the beautiful north coast at Nungwi Dreams resort.  The resort was beautiful and just the ticket after the Safari.  Our room was spacious and the staff was so accommodating.  Our party ranged in age from 66 to 78 so we found the many stairs a bit of a struggle but did fine.  The spa services were so relaxing and affordable, I had three different treatments and my husband, who never had a massage before, enjoyed his time on the table.  Lars Dewing, the chef, created delicious meals with beautiful presentations.  I enjoyed the two outdoor buffets and the breakfast buffet the most.  Lars was so friendly and emailed us a recipe for one of his soup recipes that we especially enjoyed.  The only drawback of this resort was it was difficult to swim in the Indian Ocean due to the coral right off the lovely, sandy beach – but we knew this before booking.  Our last day we toured Stone Town, a must - lots of history and culture.  Nungwi Dreams was the perfect end of our Tanzanian Safari.

Pleasant Dreams

Our family of 5 (18, 16 and 14 year old kids) truly enjoyed our 4-night stay. The property is gorgeous and the location was breathtakingly beautiful. We enjoyed that it was quite and away from the crowds, but yet close enough to be in the "thick of it" if we wanted. The food was amazing and we enjoyed the dinner entertainment that was provided. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! 

Gorgeous place to stay

With my husband we spent 12 lovely days in your hotel. I would love to praise all your staff, especially the chefcook Lars, waitress Kisa, because she was really professional, personal and loving, in Spa Gertruda made an excellent work and also both two housekeepers were great. Food was really very delicious. So all praise to all!
