The place is wonderful the service is top-notch, rooms are so spacious and well organised, maximum hospital from the gate,meal on time it's the best place in mara region I prefer to come back again and again and I'll always recommend the keep it up Team Le grand Victoria Hotel 

The beautiful place to have a pleasant stay in Mara region 

Most of the safari camp in Tanzania national parks are better than this hotel. Poor food, very poor room cleaning, full of mosquito in every room, toilets you feel not to use and space inside the room. Just check my photo you can see the passage between bed and Wall. So everytime you want to use toilet you need go over the bed or you may get hurt. This one night if I survive this night, thi is the first and last night I'm staying in this hotel.  

Don't get confused by the name, you may cry like me

I loved my room at the Le Grand Victoria Hotel.
It was very spacious with a large comfortable bed, mosquito nets, balcony, tv, desk, sitting area and own ensuite. It was such a pleasant surprise. The staff will welcome you and are very helpful. There is a restaurant down stairs, on site, however they will cater to your needs, should you choose to dine in your room via room service. I enjoyed the food and it was always fresh and healthy. My experience was if you needed anything, just ask and the staff went out of their way to assist.

Beautiful Room

From Nairobi and this is a very nice place in MUSOMA town tasty local food,awesome staff and service and the rooms are very very clean.There is backup generator and wifi which is amazing for business trips.

Business 

I stayed there 2 weeks. The hotel is locaded behind a main street, so it is quiet. But...  Coqs sings from 5 to 9am. It force de me to change my room. The personnal is ready to help you in case of problem. You should prefer the executive room (80000 tzs /Day) more comfortable. Sometimes, there is no hot water if general electrical shut down. Note that the hotel have it's own power generator. 

Comfortable rooms

it is arguably the best hotel in the small town. It has good room and acceptable furniture. There is a lot of investment. But the biggest downsides are: The management staff are NOT at all trained and though they are good people but with no knowledge of managing a hotel, the rooms have poor lighting system and may only require an addition of a table lamp, and the toilets have no curtain, thus water flows everywhere. When I stayed there, I had to move three rooms, no water till 745am on two days and the staff shift your luggage to another room without your permission. Trust the management improves the service to become the best in Musoma

MISSED OPPORTUNITIES

Nice and new hotel but poor finishing, which might give the appearance of needing maintenance. We planned to stay for 2 nights but had to move out immediately after the receptionist blatantly stole 80,000/= TZSH from me. Never going back.
