Lazy Beach is a cozy guesthouse that offers a unique combination of staying in the middle of a local village while at the same time being a quiet spot in a tropical paradise right by the beach! Staff (and manager Sarah!) are all equally amazing and friendly. If you want to see the real Zanzibar and rather stay in an authentic beautiful guesthouse than a large-scale and impersonal resort: stop searching... Lazy Beach is the perfect place for the perfect holiday!

INCREDIBLE!!! The view was absolutely breathtaking and the locals were some of the friendliest people I have ever met. I would definitely go back and would recommend the Lazy Beach House for anyone visiting the area.

I had the most amazing holiday at Lazy Beach House !! I would like to thank all the staff and owners for making this the most memorable holiday ever. The owners and staff we amazing, the rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. Thank to everyone who made this a holiday to remember. I will be coming back to lazy beach house in 2020.

I have been to many places that promise many things, but Lazy Beach House delivered on every promise. The house is beautiful and quaint in a very quiet area of Kiwengwa.  The beach area is perfect for swimming at high tide and good for long strolls on the beach at low tide.  I could hear the sound of the crashing waves from my room which was neat, clean, comforatble and private with a super cute balcony where I spent quite alot of my time relaxing.  I will definitely be back here again.  Thank you to all the staff that made our stay perfect.

Where do I even begin?! Lazy Beach is everything you want for an accommodation and more! The staff is EXTREMELY friendly and always making sure you have everything you need. It is in a beautiful location. You can see the beach standing on the porch and it's a two-minute walk away. The restaurant next door has incredible chefs. I told them I was vegan and they were very accommodating to my dietary restrictions. I will definitely be coming back:)

Location is great, right on the beach. Beach restaurant food was delicious. Many little shops in the beach around the place. Its quiet but if you are looking for relaxed place to stay, it's perfect. Everyone was very welcoming especially Sarah.

i have been there for one night , its was cheap but nice..located direct at the beach.
i enjoyed a very beautiful sunrise and had a small breakfast. the breakfast was very basic but ok, it was included in the price.

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN ZANZIBAR

I booked the room in Lazy Beach in February 2018 becauseI got my flight, knowing Zanzibar around Christmas and New Year is High season! 

So I planned my trip as a single traveller in Zanzibar early...
In october, from one day to another, Lazy Beach cancelled my room and it's said: overbooked

Do they think I'm stupid to believe that? I booked early one of the rooms with sea view....for me alone. To make more money they cancelled me in october, knowing that it's hard to 
find another room in october. The worst thing was...they want that I cancel the room in booking.com. Never I would do that. Why? 
It needed a long time before the cancel it then. 
I am really angry about this....that's not fair. And really I would never, never book there again!! Bad people with no empathy...only money is their religion. 

There are other places in Zanzibar where you can rely on....like Mango Beach in Jambiani.
FORGET LAZY BEACH !!!
