My stay at the hotel exceeded my expectations, it's a literal piece of paradise. The place was beautiful and spotless, the manager in particular was very helpful and accommodative. The air-conditioned bedroom was a total godsend , as well as their immaculate reverse osmosis systems, which were capable of removing a wide variety of salt contaminants from the Tanzania hard-water. 

The place is more than worth the price. Will definitely be back and highly recommend over the larger resorts in the area. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The hotels management was extremely accommodating

  Have been there 3Times and nothing went wrong in all my stay, very professional and well trained staff, especially one of the receptionist (forgot the name) Rooms are very clean which shows that the housekeepers are doing a great job, TV in the rooms with a different channels of your choice

I am writing to praise the staff at Cate Hotel Morogoro. On Saturday, March 22nd, we were unfortunately involved in an accident while turning into the hotel in hopes of finding an ATM. Our car had four adults and one baby. To avoid the hot sun on the baby we took him into the lobby. All the staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating for the next THREE HOURS while Mom and grandparents waited for issues involving the accident to be resolved. Dad had to go to the police station and make a report, then take the damaged car to the police station. The staff even unloaded and stored our luggage behind the counter until Dad returned and a rental company driver arrived so that we could continue our trip to Mikumi National Park. We will be forever grateful to the Cate Hotel Morogoro staff for their gracious and cheerful assistance during this otherwise horrific experience.

Staying five nights in the heart of Kariakoo, breakfast in the form of a buffet was varied every morning and perfect, the bedding was impeccable, the room was cleaned every day, the staff was pleasant, the security within the establishment and a big thank you for the reception always in exchange and for guiding us on our journeys within Kariakoo, it is a business district with its two main markets.

Very good catering service. Clean hotel with well-preserved rooms but particularly noisy: the doors of the rooms are very loud and at any time. This has often revealed to us in the middle of the night. - No reception service: we noticed from the first night that the sink was clogged and some equipment was defective, and we reported it. They never came to repair. - An untimely call woke us up at 5 a.m. We called the reception for an explanation. The answer was no, you have not been called...

Do not recommend

You can never fail to love it when you meet a home as welcoming just like the one you would perfectly need. After a great struggle trying to locate where to spend our night while we are moving in the Night, we land ourselves in the hands of these precious hands. The treatment was awesome, the one of a kind you would quench for all time. I will never forget the free Breakfast we all the seven of us got on a day we all did not sleep at this place.

Home away from home

I slept in a cate hotel during the month of Ramadan in June e n destination of zanzibar. the hotel is clean and cheap. i was staying on the fifth floor and there is the elevator that works well. there is a nice breakfast buffet tres in the morning. i have a problem with my cafe. they offer the coffee in a box it's not good. if you're a coffee lover like me, at this point you're going to be fine. wifi works fine everywhere. all the staff is nice.

Classic but pleasant!!!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in cate hotel,this was the second time our first time was really nice,receptionist were welcoming and staffs were really friendly.Rooms are very spacious and clean,big up to the chef the food was super delious.keep up the good spirit,I promise to visit again next year.thanks for making our stay a memorable one

Beautiful place to be when in Dsm

Located in Kariakoo area, Cate Hotel is very convenient for people on business, those going to the ferry station and those arriving via bus. The rates are very affordable which is inclusive of breakfast. The rooms are spacious, clean and with the basic toiletries. The staff are friendly and wi-fi is available in the rooms. Make payments in the local currency if you can.

In the Heart of Dar Es Salaam

It was my first time in dar essalam the staying in cate hotel is really wonderful with a very helpful staff and tasty food...sure I will be back whenever I'm in dar essalam. Location is so near to the city center ! !
