Very nice lodge with swimming pool, located at site former coffee plantage and large rooms. What strikes is the kindness and flexibility of the staff. Furthermore, the food is good. High light of the day is the show of the blue monkey’s, which are jumping from three to three. Finally, my family enjoyed the guided tour over the coffe plantage, with a focus on birds and plants.

Great place to start/or end your Safari in Tanzania

Arusha Villa was a great place to start our safari trip in Tanzania (family of five). After 15 hours travelling it was a relief to only have a 50 minute drive to Arusha villa from Kilimanjaro airport and we had a fantastic welcome when we arrived. 

The rooms were very spacious (we had a double and a triple for our kids) with great beds and bathrooms. The whole hotel is probably only around 10 bedrooms or so so not very busy.

We took our first day to relax and stayed at the hotel to recover from the travelling. The staff were incredibly helpful, a great breakfast, lunch and dinner and the service overall was first rate.

On our second day we visited Arusha national park which was a fantastic small park to start our safari and the hotel provided a great packed lunch.

On checkout everything went smoothly, the extra drinks we had bought were the best value we had in Tanzania and the staff kindly changed some large dollar notes we had into smaller denominations to help with the rest of our trip.

The only criticism I would have of the hotel is that there aren't many sun beds so if you want to relax by the pool for a while there isn't much room. Everything else was great and a perfect place to stay for your first night/nights visiting Tanzania

Great place to start our Tanzania safari

Great spot and would definitely recommend as a place to stay before or after your Safari. The room was comfy and we loved the food at breakfast and dinner. The staff were enormously friendly. The villa is Ina beautiful location WiFi is awful but that seems the case at all places!

Beautiful location and villa

We stayed one night here prior to our safari and we loved it! The staff was extremely nice and accommodating, the food was delicious, the property was beautiful, and the room was spacious and luxurious. We spent the morning relaxing by the pool, and the afternoon in Arusha. On our request the staff called a driver to take us into Arusha town - he spent the afternoon taking us to various places such as a local food market, the Tanzanite Experience, and the Cultural Heritage Center. Highly recommend if you're going to be staying in the area!

The airy bright rooms were delightful…bed was so cozy… food was delicious… and the conversation was inspiring🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 The White-tailed Colobus was a special bonus as the proprietor was so gracious to invite me along on a walking tour of the surrounding area.

Perfect start to my Tanzania stay

We have stayed several times at Arusha Villa, always we had gantastic stays. Spacious rooms, a very nice garden, great pool, lounge area and a superb restaurant. always a choice between vegetarian dish or a dish with chicken or fish.
The quality of the food and staff is among the best we experienced in our many travels to africa!

Fantastic

Perfect start of our Safari holiday in Tanzania. We arrived at 10:30 pm, but the restaurant was still open and prepared some lovely snacks for us. There is also an exterior sitting area with a fire place. The family  room was very spacious, super cosy and clean. We did not use the pool but it looked great.

Perfect start of the holiday

Stayed here twice one day before our Safari trip and one day on the return. It’s well located for Kilimanjaro airport so this is helpful to know ( about an hours car ride).

No a La carte menu all food comes as a set menu for lunch and dinner a little limiting.

Nice but not amazing

We started and ended our safari trip at Arusha Villa and it was a great place to relax, first after a long flight from Canada and later after a 9 day safari. The rooms are spacious and clean, there are several nice places to sit and relax or play a game, the pool is wonderful, the food is delicious, and the staff makes you feel at home the minute you arrive. Watching the blue monkeys playing in the trees at the pool is a real fun bonus. The villa is located close to Kilimanjaro Airport and to Arusha National Park, and the immediate area around the villa is great for a hike. 

Great place to stay and relax

Super nice & cozy hotel to rest after our safari tour! Its a peaceful oasis in the outsides of chaotic Arusha and we loved our 2 nights there! Plus, staff was super friendly and food was so tasty! We recommend it 100%! Best wishes from Spain! Muchas gracias!
