Overall a decent stay,  only problem is that there's lots of ants but for the price range this is an excellent home stay.

Large window with a park view. If you wake up early, you can see the sunrise. (Not in all rooms, initially they tried to put me in a terrible ground-floor room with a view to some backyard trash dump only, claiming it was "better:" I had to insist that was not what I booked to get one of the decent ones.)The wide road adjacent to the hotel barely gets any traffic, and the surroundings are very quiet (except the occasional jet noise, which is on par with most of Taidong). The area is a much better place to stay than the downtown, and lets you drive anywhere avoiding it altogether.The room was clean. Towels and toiletries were provided. Aircon worked well and was reasonably quiet. Mattress was softer than expected, which was good. The lighting was above average. A very comfortable armchair was a nice touch.The bad: No fridge in the room, had to use one in the (very dirty) kitchen area. No storage space, just two hangers or the floor. For a 4-day stay, towels were never changed. Wi-Fi only worked for the first 30 mins after power-cycling the access point, and was slow anyway. Bedding reeked of mold, probably wasn't dried well after laundry. Guests have to leave shoes at entrance and only dirty, unhygienic slippers as old as the hotel itself are provided in one minuscule size. The floors are nothing special and not in great shape anyway (sticky as glue in the kitchen), so not sure what the big deal is.Still decent value for money though.

This bed and breakfast house provides a home stay experience. Near the national park a great location for outdoor activities. The house is very clean and rooms are big. Parking on the street is available. The address isn't very easy to find because of the random street numbers.

We stayed at the family room for 3 nights during our recent stay in Taitung. Full Sun House is located along the fringe of the city facing the peaceful Forest Park and Sea Side Park. It is within easy walking distance to the Sunday night market and the bus stop. Walking to the CBD and Railway Cultural Park took us about 20 mins. 

The owner picked us up from the Railway Station. I liked that she provided much information of the possible places we could go. She was candid as she shared with us interesting stories of her life and the homestay. 

I liked the Eurpoean décor of the homestay as well as the many windows that made the whole place very bright and welcoming. Our spacious bedroom faced the main road but it was never noisy. The wooden flooring was a nice touch and the bathroom was very clean. 

The owners would be around until 7pm in the evening. We could hang around the comfortable dining area if we were lazy to leave the cosy homestay. Breakfast was provided in the morning. It was delicious and healthy. The minor drawback was that the breakfast was the same for the 3 days we were there. Also, if housekeeping was done on a daily basis, I would have given the homestay a perfect rating. 

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Full Sun House as we felt very at ease with the surroundings. The owners were helpful and this homestay was very well-kept. For the nice prices we paid, this was of a very good value.

Home stay!

建築雖新，但管理有待加強，我們抵達的時候，院子裏蟲飛草長，水池裏漾著綠色積水，客廳沙發上囤著汰換下來待洗的床單，再加上對不同網路平台訂房客人的不同服務標準，令人不快。
They need to make more effort on the management. The building is almost brand new. But the  environment already gets odd. On the day of our arrival, the yard was with long grasses and a greenish-water pond. The dirty linens still hoarded on the sofa. ..
Beside that, there are 2 different service standards to apply on the customers. People who book through other websites will receive less service than the one who book the room through the B&B's own website.

建築雖新，管理不足。

Not a hotel by all means. Just a usual small building, which the owner has changed it to a home stay.
