It's a stone's throw away from the Taipei Main Station, and the bus from the airport drops you off just a few walks away. There are lots of good food in the vicinity. Our trip was pleasant. It's a very cool hostel where you can even write/buy postcards to send to friends, and they will send it for you. 

Near everywhere

Since I stay there for only 01 night and I arrived quite late in the evening so no complaint, this property provided pleasant stay.
In comparison to another dorm-style hotel, 6 bunk beds in a room with a window (Even can not open and no view) included private bathroom and toilett is a reasonable treat.

The location is super convenient, close to both Exit M6 and M7 of Taipei Main Station with lots of food and drinks choices near hotel.

Good for short stay in Taipei, perfect location

I stopped in Taipei for a quick visit (also my first time visit in Taiwan). Nihai has a good location, close to the bus station (where I can take bus between the Airport and the city), close to the subway. Some places I visited are in walking distance. The hostel is in a commercial building. The reception and rooms are on different floors. The room doesn't have a good view, which is expected. When I visited Taipei, it was Mid-autumn Festival and Nihao organized an event that we made mooncakes and played games together, which was fun and unforgettable! Thanks for the sweet arrangement! I also got a postcard from them when I got home! surprised!  
So I would recommend for whose who will be travelling alone and with low budget.

Good choice for single traveller

The common room is either under construction or they’re having some contract issues depending on who you ask. The reception has moved to the 8th floor and operates out of a kitchen. This means there is no where nice to hang out. You just have your room (a 6 bed dorm for me) which only has beds in it. Outside of the dorms is a small area with just a bench and some high chairs but it’s not that comfortable and there’s no air con. If you get Breakfast included you go to a nearby cafe for it. It’s fine but obviously a bit slower depending on how busy the cafe is (busy when I went). 

Otherwise, the dorm beds are comfortable. You get your own curtain for privacy and to help keep your bed area dark. There is a personal reading light and a plug socket (more than one or a USB socket would be useful!). The room has an electronically secure locker where you can put your stuff. The outer room and your dorm both require a keycard. The outer room is kind of stuffy/hot but the dorm room itself was fine! There were 4 bathroom/toilets outside of the rooms and they also had some separate sinks not within the bathrooms. It seems like it’s more than enough unless everyone gets up at the same time. 

As for the staff, like most places it depends who you get. A few of the female staff are very friendly and can have a chat/joke with you. I mentioned the WiFi wasn’t strong in the room and they immediately went to check it. After that it improved a lot. They were also understanding when I decided to leave early. 

Location is right next to Taipei main station which is convenient for further travel around Taiwan. The street the hostel is on has a few things like 7/11, noodle restaurant and a cafe but for more restaurants you need to walk further. 

Overall, if it had a common room I’d probably give this 4-5 stars but without it it’s hard to socialise. As a solo traveller this is important for me.

This place is cool hip and modern, The concierge is also the lobby/café. staffs are young and very very friendly, they communicate well in English, with had a good laugh with Mia (one of the staff) about turning up the volume of the music. 

The rooms are nice and comfortable, my only concern is the bathroom are so tightly packed hehe but its still ok with me. We checked in for five days, they've got unlimited tea and chips and biscuits at the far end of the hall, hot warm and cold filtered water is always available. We had Asian breakfast on the first day and it was delicious! The porridge is made of red mountain rice and the fish fillet is excellent plus the fern like vegetable was also superb! 

The hotel cafe is located at Daan at the back of exit 1 mrt line. so accessible to all the stations. So if your goin to taipe, this is the right place to be. highly recomended!
