Location was great, easy to locate. Few mins walk to the nearest mrt station and lots of eateries around the vicinity.

Budgeted room stay

Please stay away from this hotel.
I just stayed in Taipei 2 nights before come back to Japan. So i checked and saw this hotel near the station, so i chose to stay here.
When i arrived exact the hotel address on website booking (I had to ask the security from Sogo hotel because i couldn't find it), but they already closed the door, i had to call them (and you can image how much i have to pay for international call almost 30 minutes). 
That lady couldn't speak English, only Taiwanese languaga and little bit Japanese language. Therefore, my friend and me walked around that area like crazy people and keeping the phone to let that lady show us the way go to the hotel and she can't use good Japanese language (What? Other hotel? Why they don't show the exact address on website or send the email to costumers if we book the hotel). If you can't speak Taiwanese and Japanese language, please stay away this hotel.
Moreover, when the night at 1am, i woke up and couldn't sleep because of noisy from washing machine (until 2:30am)
The room is small, house keeping just went to change garbage bin and nothing else. Really dissappointed, this hotel was very poor service that i ever seen in my travel life.
Anyway, i really enjoyed time to stay in Taipei, food was very tasty, people was very nice. Having many good Ramen restaurants, and night markets.

The most terrible of my life

If you plan to book this accomodation, please make sure that you have someone to translate to Mandarin Or leave all necessary information such as arrival time. Secondly, the location is very difficult to find. However, it is right  beside Sogo; so location wise it is top notch. Also the rooms are spacious.great value for money if you can speak nor read chinese. Else just get someone to help you cuz it is not 24 hrs and no counter.

It's the commercial building that was turned into hotel, which is fine for me except there's no sign at the entrance and no straff at all. Available on call only. Not recommend for relaxing trip. Room is clean and spacious though. Location is very good. Just behind SOGO.

if you're not a fussy type of person, then this place will suit you. it is actually located in a very convenient area, which is right next to SOGO and there is MRT right in front of SOGO so you can take the mrt n go wherever. The room I had wasn't very big but was ok for 2 person but the ceiling was not concealed very properly and the toilet was alright. Its more like a Private room dormitory with washing machine and water supply outside your room for everyone to share n use.

As Expedia says, you have to check in at one location and the hotel is in another location. The check-in hours are also more limited than standard.Being a traveler from the US speaking only English, this was a confusing and difficult process for me. I might have done better to choose a normal hotel.Once at the location, everything was awesome. Everyone was super helpful and wonderful people. Now that I know where it is, and how and when to check in, I will certainly be back.

Great place, everyone is awesome

Without check-in desk, need to call the staff to bring us to hotel.  It is not convenience for family travel. Moreover, they have 3 blocks in different location.I booked family room for 4 person, first 5 nights they provide a big room for 4 of us with sitting room and windows.Last night stay at Taipei, they provided a twin room with extra bed only, the room is without window.  The reason is the big room must stay more than 3 nights continuity.   Terrible is no one clear the room daily.  Without exchange towel even stay 5 nights.Only the staff and location is good.
